I yawn and stretch. Saturday. Yet again, my least favourite day of the week. Yawning, I tiredly step out of my capsule. I look at my clock and realize that it's 1:00. P.m.

I start panicking, but then I remember that today, father is working so Marcus and I have a free day.

But, I panic again because then I remember that three boys will be fighting for me in an hour. Hmm, I never thought that would happen.

I have to talk to Marcus, first. But of course he won't back down. He's a guy. Guy's think it's 'chicken' to not face the other guy 'like a man'. I roll my eyes and I walk downstairs, still in my pj's. Marcus is doing exercising on the floor, doing one handed push-ups. He looks up at me and from the struggling breaths, he says...

"You...should get...dressed." He takes huge breath and continues.

"The fight...starts in less...than an hour." He stands up and starts doing jumping jacks. I nod, looking down at myself.

"Hey, for once your right." He rolls his eyes as I dash upstairs to get changed.

I open my closet doors. I don't feel anything special today. I just end up wearing a jean vest, jeans and a black t-shirt. I'm about to leave, when something golden catches my eye. It's the charm bracelet Chase gave me. I quickly put it on my right hand.

I run back downstairs to see Marcus doing sit ups. I walk over to him and put my hands on my hips.

"Marcus, you can't be seriously doing this." He frowns and stands up.

"What do you mean?" He asks, taking sips of water.

"I mean, fighting. It's so childish."

"Trust me. Chase and I are bionic." I laugh nervously.

"Ha well, I don't think the odds are on on your side as much as you think, Marcus." He raises an eyebrow at me.

"Oh?" I nod.

"I think Logan's bionic."

He sighs and starts stretching.

"Gwen. Your being ridiculous."

"Really! How do you think he was able to just knock me to the ground like that?" He sighs, splashing water on his face.

"Look, I don't know and I really don't care at the moment."

"Seriously!" But, he just doesn't believe me.

I run up to Marcus and Chase glancing at Logan. A whole crowd has shown up.

"It's not too late to back down"

"Yeah," Bree joins me from the crowd.

"You two are acting like such babies." Chase gives her a serious look.

"Ha, no way! Men always have dignity and honour. They can't back down from a fight." Bree laughs.

"And I'm sorry, you consider yourself a man?" He rolls his eyes at her. Chase locks eyes with me, and we start having some kind of silent-eye conversation.

"Oh, Bree." Marcus says, winking at me.

"I have to tell you something," He says, ushering Bree away. Then, they 'hide' so that they can eavesdrop on our conversation. I roll my eyes at them, and turn back to Chase.

"Hey!" His eyes light up. "Your wearing the bracelet I gave you." I smile.

"Of course." I look back at Logan, who's surrounded by a bunch of jocks giving him a prep talk. I turn to Chase.

"Alright, now it's my turn to be concerned about YOU!" I say, giving him a stern look. He mischievously smirks at me, I love that look.

"Trust me. Me and Marcus worked out most of the details. We don't plan on fighting." I frown.

"You don't? Then how are you-"

"Trust me." I smile and do something unexpected. I quickly kiss him on the cheek. Chase stands there, shocked and blushing.

"For luck, and stuff." He nods, completely dazed.

"For luck and stuff." Giggling, I walk back to join Bree.

I'm about to say something, but Bree whirls around.

"Gwen, I'm sorry." She rolls her eyes. "I was acting like such a jerk."

I smile at her.

"That's okay, Bree. I'm sure if I were you, as in YOU you, then I would have done the same thing."

"Um...yeah." I'm about to respond, when some guy starts reading the fight rules. Seriously, this whole thing is stupid. Honestly, when will boys just stop being so stupid? I'm not saying all of them are, (In fact, Chase and Marcus are the exact opposite.) but-

"AND FIGHT!" The crowd roars as Logan appears ready. But Marcus just just holds up his index finger.

"Oh, just one moment. We're discussing quantum physics." Logan growls and calls them nerds. He charges, but Chase and Marcus just easily sidestep him. Chase scowls.

"How rude! We were JUST discovering what the mass of a wormhole would be like! No need to get crazy!"

Logan sneers.

"Why do you keep talking? Fight like men."

"Oh," Marcus taps his head. "WE are. But, YOUR fighting like a baby." Logan stops, and stands still.

"Fine. Alright. Sure." He runs off the field as he starts to get booed.

Then, he grabs my arm and leads me away from the crowd.

"Don't try super speeding away, Gwen." He says seriously. I laugh nervously.

"Super speed? Who do you think I am, Supergirl?" I laugh. When we're far away, he turns around and pulls out a badge from his pocket. His serious expression dose not change.

"Gwen, my name is Mason Martinez. I'm with the C.I.A."
