Goodbye

This takes place the same exact time they heard the gun shot, only this was inside the warehouse.

Jake's POV
I knew this was going to be the end. Goodbye Chanthony. Alissa. Erika. And Logan...dear god Logan.

*gun shot*

My ears started ringing and all I saw was a white light. I didn't know what was going on. Was I in heaven. I then heard Logan screaming my name. Was I not in heaven? I then saw the outline of a figure straight above me.

Kade: You ok?

Jake: Who-who are you?

Kade: I'm Kade. I've been helping Erika.

Jake: I'm-I'm not dead.

Kade: No. But he is. *looks at Blake*

Jake: You protected me. But why?

Kade: Erika needs you. So does your brother. He won't stop screaming.

Jake: They all think I'm dead.

Kade: I guess so.

Erika: *softly* Ka-Kade?

Jake: Rik...*runs to cell* It's going to be ok Erika.

Erika: Jake...

Jake: *smiles* It's me. Your safe now. *opens cell*

Erika: *hugs Jake* I missed you so much. *starts to cry*

Jake: *hugs Erika* I missed you too. *starts to cry*

Erika: Listen...I'm sorry-

Jake: No...you don't need to apologize. I'm sorry for being such a jerk. You don't deserve to have someone like me.

Erika: Someone like you? Any girl in the world would be lucky to have someone like you. You drove over 8 hours to find me and haven't slept for at least 3 days. And I thank you for that.

Jake: You should be thanking Logan. He drove us here.

Erika: Jake Joseph Paul. You are one of the bravest, kindest, funniest  guys I've ever met. And I'm lucky to have you. Not only as a friend, but as my boyfriend.

Jake: Does this mean your taking me back?

Erika: Of course. *kisses Jake*

Jake: *kisses Erika*

*5 minutes later*

Kade: *coughs*

Jake: *laughs* Sorry Kade.

Erika: Sorry.

Kade: Maybe we should tell your friends that you aren't dead.

Jake: Good idea. We have to get you to a hospital though. You freezing.

Erika: I know.

Jake: *picks up Erika* Just keep warm.

Erika:*nods head*

Kade: *opens door*

Nathan: Kade! Your ok!

Kade: I am.

Logan: Glad Your Ok. I wish my brother could be too.

Kade: He said he wasn't. *moves out of the way*

Chanthony: JAKE! ERIKA! *hugs them*

Jake: You didn't think I would leave would you?

Tessa: ERIKA! JAKE! YOUR OK!

Erika: Not fully Ok. I'm freezing but the good thing is I'm not dead.

Alissa: I was bawling my eyes out. I thought you two were really gone.

Jake: I wouldn't leave you guys.

Logan: *wipes tears* I...I didn't know what i would do without you. I'm so happy to see both of you.

Jerika: We are too.

Chance: Wait...does that mean....

Tessa: Jerika is back together?

Jake: *looks at Erika* It never stopped.

Everyone: YES! *claps*

Erika: Wait! Guys!

Jake: Yeah?

Erika: I made a promise to these 2. They get me out. They come back with us. They have been homeless for a long time.

Jake: Of course they can. I can ask my mom and see if they can stay with me.

Kade: You would do that?

Jake: You saved my life. It's the least I could do.

Nathan: Thank you! *hugs Jake*

Jake: *smiles* Of course.
