Jake: Thanks guys.

Doctor: Oh hi everyone. I need to talk to you guys for a moment.

Tessa: Ok. Is it about Erika?

Doctor: It is. Erika is in fact awake. However, she's in a delicate state.

Jake: What does that mean?

Doctor: She won't let anyone touch her. She is very panicked. We think it might just be the fact she doesn't know us or know where she is.

Chance: Can we see her?

Doctor: You can, but don't make her uncomfortable.

Alissa: Ok. Thanks doctor.

Doctor: Of course. Also Jake, I know this is hard for you, considering she might not remember you, but there is a small chance that her memory might come back.

Jake: Hopefully it does, and thank you.

Doctor: Of course. *leaves room*

Tony: So...maybe we should go see her.

Logan: Good point.

Tessa: *grabs Jake's good arm* Here. I got you.

Jake: Thanks Tess.

*they all walk down the hall to Erika's room*

Tony: Ok. Ready?

Tony: *opens door*

Nurse: Hello kids. Are you friends of Erika's?

Logan: Yes we are.

Nurse: Ok. Erika. You have visitors.

Erika: *looks at them*

Jake: Rik....

Jake's POV
Erika's lip was swollen and she had a black eye. I just want to kiss her so badly, and tell her everything is going to be ok.

Erika: Listen. I don't know you guys. As much as I would want to remember you guys I can't. Now can you please just go.

Tessa: *sighs* We can come back later.

Logan: *opens door* Let's go guys.

Chance: Jake?

Jake: Wait for me outside.

Chance: Ok? *closes door*

Jake: Where's the Erika I know?

Erika: What do you mean?

Jake: *grabs chair* *sits down next to Erika* You know...the Erika that never gives up. The Erika whose laugh I can't get out of my head. The Erika whose smile is as bright as the sun. *smiles* The Erika I will never forget.

Erika: Look...as much as I want to, I can't remember you.

Jake: This might help. *pulls out phone*

Erika: Wait....Go back to your home screen.

Jake: *shows home screen*
