The moment mom parked the car, I jump out, my hands shake with excitement. I can't believe I'm going see Millie. We face time every week but it's not the same as seeing her
in real life. Mom opens the trunk and takes out my suitcase with the Eiffel Tower printed on it in black. I roll it inside the glass revolving door and push on the glass lightly until the door opens up and flows into the airport, which was scattered with people bustling here and there in groups of mainly 4 or 5. After we check in, the attendants lead us though some separate gates to prevent us from being bombarded with fans. I don't mind the fans but apparently it disturbs the flow of things in the airport. I read my ticket which has the words
' Edmonton to Atlanta 1st class' scrolled boldly across the front. Then I walk down the ramp that led to the plane.

" Passengers I'm afraid to announce we need to make an emergency landing in Vancouver due to severe storm warnings heading our way. Due to this delay, select few VIP passengers will shortly join our flight. Thank you for choosing Air Canada." The stewardess finishes. We all leave the plane and our baggage behind. In the Vancouver airport, they have the VIP's wait in glass chairs and they offer us vouchers and coupons for the nearby stores. After about 45 mins of scrolling through Instagram and listening to music, the rest of the VIPs who would join our flight due to the weather problems arrive. I sat there and drank a Starbucks caramel macchiato from a nearby stall. The first VIP came walking out of the door with his curly hair all messed up, hanging in thick strands draping around sharp face.
