"Are you okay?" He asks, looking at me like I was crazier than elderly cannibal.

" Yeah, I'm good. But whoever spilt their drink and just left it here, in the middle of the walkways is really stupid." I admit, tugging shyly on the back of my shirt as I speak. He had never spoke to me before. Ever. Just simple waves, and glances.

" That stupid person, yeah, that was Finn. He spilt his water running. I was just coming back to clean it up." He admits, trying to hide the huge amount of awkwardness between us as I look down at his hands, which are clogged up with paper towels. Awesome, just awesome. I literally just told my coworkers brother that his brother was really stupid. I'm the stupid one now.

" Oh, I uh, I mean, you know... I didn't mean to..." I stutter as he cuts me off.

"I get it. Don't worry, I won't tell him." He replies cooly, as he bends down to clean the mess I had just made even worse. At least he wasn't gonna tell Finn.

" Why was he running?" I question, trying to change the subject and forget about what just happened, as I take a sheet of paper towel from his hands and start to soak up the water.

" Not sure. But I think he really wanted to get off the plane. Maybe he was sitting next to someone who really smells, or was like falling asleep on him. I couldn't tell cause I was like five rows behind him. Anyways, I should probably go help Finn get the bags. He'll need help picking them up. See ya!" He calls as he puts the sopping wet paper towels into a garbage can, throws a small wave at me and trails off. "Buzz" My phone softly vibrates. I snatch it out of my bag and check the notification.

Mom: In line @starbucks. Where are you?!

Shoot, my latte. I forgot. My fingers dashe across the virtual keyboard as I reply as quick as I can.

Me: I'm just walking there. See u in a sec.

I run across the now dry concrete pavement as I make my way to the long winding line. Maybe everyone wants a latte. I duck under the rope that edged the line, and slide around a couple groups of strangers to finally make it to my mom. She's reading an email on her shiny, new phone. We both don't realize the line moves, until the stranger behind us gently taps and points to the spot we are at, and the spot we should be at. I stare at the familiar shaped person that tapped us. Short hair, skinny, fair skinned...

Oh. My. God.
