I open the door to see Finn looking dapper as ever in a black suit and tie to match. Our eyes lock as I walk down the steps. I decided to ditch the crutches now that I feel strong enough to walk on my own.
"You look amazing!" He says with his eyes glistening.
"So do you." I say straightening his twisted tie.
"Bye, Millie! Thanks." I tell her as she waves at me and walks down the street. I put my phone into my gold bag and Finn takes my hand.

We walk together down the road to where a black car is waiting. A limo, I think to myself. Smooth, Finn.
"Ladies first!" He tells me as he opens the door for me. I step in, and he sits down next to me.
"We're good to go." Finn says to the driver. The driver nods and starts us on our way, wherever we were going. I watch the driver press a button and the divider rolls up. Now, Finn and I were essentially alone.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"We're going on a private dinner cruise." He tells me with an excited smile on his face. My mouth opens a little in awe.
"Really?" I question.
"Really." He grins as he grabs my hand.

The driver rolls away as we pull up to a wooden dock

The driver rolls away as we pull up to a wooden dock. The view is breathtaking. The sky a navy blue, stars sprinkled about, glistening alongside the moon. Finn's eyes light up in the dim light as he takes my hand and we walk onto a large, beautiful yacht. Finn lifts me up onto the yacht, then follows. A man in a waiter's uniform leads us into the dining area under the dock. It is fancy. The floor and walls are made of glass, so you can see the water, there is a table with a white tablecloth and a single rose in a vase. A wide array of cutlery is set out. Finn pulls out my chair, and we take a seat. As we sit, classical violin music begins to play and a gorgeous salad is placed on the table in a beautiful and ornate glass bowl.
"Finn, this is incredible. I can't believe you went to all this trouble. I was expecting like, chips and mini golf or something, but this..." I smile at him in thanks.
"It was worth it for you." He tells me as he serves me some salad, then himself. We eat and talk as more and more courses come. At this point we've had salad, soup, carpaccio, and freshly caught sea bass as an entree. As the waiter clears our plates, which are still filled with food due to the many courses with massive portions, Finn leans in and says, "Dessert is next."
"I would love to, but I'm really full." I tell him jokingly. He takes my hand and gestures for me to follow him. I do as he asks and we walk back up to the deck.

He sits down and I sit next to him. I can smell the salty breeze as it blows against us. A mist of water sprays once in a while as the boat glides along the water's surface.
A waiter brings a small chocolate dome to the table beside us.
"Chocolate lava cake?" Finn asks digging the spoon into the cake. The decadent, rich chocolate spills out, flooding the plate. Finn picks up a small bite with the spoon and puts it in my mouth. It's delicious.
"My turn." I tell him as I do the same. Only I must not have good hand-eye coordination, because a tiny drop of chocolate is on his freckled cheek. He laughs, while finishing his bite. I pick up the cloth napkin from the table.
"Sorry!" I say with a small giggle as I wipe it away.
"Don't worry about it." He replies coolly.
We leave the rest of the dessert and just look at each other.
"This is like the Titanic." He says.
"I hope not, we both know how that one ends." I say, laughing. That's when something amazing happens. Under the light of shimmering stars reflecting on the vast dark water, Finn cups my face and leans in. I lean in and our lips touch. After a second, we both pull away and smile. Finn wraps his arms around me and I smile, leaning on his shoulder as we look at the beautiful view.
I never want this evening to end.

The driver pulls up into the Stranger Things set parking lot, and we both get out. As he speeds off, Finn and I slowly walk back to our trailers, his hand in mine.
"I don't want this night to end." He admits.
I think our loud for a minute.
"Well, we don't have to start shooting until 3. The night doesn't have to end. We can watch a movie or something." I tell him and his face lights up.
"Let's do it!" He says with a genuine smile.

"What movie do you want to watch?" I ask Finn.
"I don't know. High School Musical?" He offers.
"You literally read my mind." I tell him. "You put it on, I'm going to go change into my pjs." I smile as I head to the closet and close the door. I pick out my prettiest pink silk pyjamas and put Millie's dress back in the garment bag she gave it to me in.

I throw my purse into the corner of the room and step back into the main area. I sit down next to Finn on the sofa. He pats the spot next to him and I sit there. I pick up a furry, white blanket from a mesh basket for Finn and I to share.

As the movie plays on, Finn pulls the classic "yawn" and wraps his arm around me. I lay against his shoulder and it's not long before we both fall asleep in each others arms.
