Zara's POV

I step out of the limo and look up at the gorgeous sky. The sun is almost about to start setting and the entire upper atmosphere is a glowing pink, purple, and yellow ombré. I actually feel a lot better than I originally expected to feel. Finn and I are finally done. I head into the news building for the interview. Because we all had to film at different times today, everyone is arriving separately, and I'm really grateful for it. Honestly, even though I feel good, having to sit in a limo for half an hour with Finn staring at me would just start to make me end up feeling guilty for yelling at him in front of everyone. I take a deep breath and open the glass doors. My bodyguard, Tyrone, who I just re-met is with me. He's actually a really nice guy. He is super tall and built and basically towers over everyone in the room. This time, he brought backup as well. I know it's for my protection, but after a shooting, how much more wrong can happen? The extra bodyguards just make me even more nervous than I already am.
It's just an interview.
It's just an interview.
I repeat it in my head to calm myself down, remembering that the doctors at the hospital said that repetition would help me with nerves. I'm brought into the studio and guided down a long hallway into the green room. Some of the cast is waiting in the green room for the event to begin, and Finn isn't here yet. I plop myself down onto the white leather couch next to Caleb. Gaten is sitting across from us on a barstool next to a mirror table. Expensive makeup products as well as hairstyling tools and accessories are spread all about on the table. A makeup artist dabs something on his face as he waves hello to me. I wave back to him with a wide smile on my face. The room is beautifully decorated, with white wood floors and tan leather couches to match. One way glass lines the walls for security and a feeling of elite status. Behind the sleek line of top of the line makeup tables and barstools is a perfect view of a glistening mountain stream. There's bottles of Evian lined up next to an array of high-quality foods that would make five-star chefs whimper. The one thing I keep forgetting is how truly cool it is to be an actress.
"Hey Z." Caleb says cooly, pointing finger guns at me with a goofy smile.
"Hey." I reply back to him, thankful that he's not bringing up yesterday's spectacle.
"Nice outfit!" Gaten says to me with a kind smile from across the room.
"You guys don't look too bad yourselves!" I say jokingly, gesturing at their outfits. Gaten's hair is slicked back and he's wearing a royal green sweater and some designer jeans. Caleb is rocking a cool hip hop look, with a suit jacket made out of different basketball jersey squares and some deep black jeans. They both are wearing sneakers that look like transformers.
"Did you get a chance to see the new script? It's so crazy. You're gonna love it." He exclaims, his face beaming at the revelation. The new script. I completely forgot that was going on. At least I have two says to catch up.
"I didn't get a chance to read it yet. Spill." I reply, genuinely interested in what he had to say.
"You won't believe this. El meets someone with the same powers as her, Jeremiah, and she leaves Mike for him because he like understands her better or something like that, so Max and Mike get together and..." He starts rambling but I cut him off.
"Wait, what?" I say too loud, shocked.
"No, That's not the cool part. The demogorgons can now travel through dimensions. Oh, and there's a bunch of gory deaths! Awesome, right?" He says with a goofy smile plastered onto his face, his arm raised for a high five. I give in and high five him, but my heart isn't in it. I'm going to have be with Finn in the show.
At this point Millie walks in and I stare her down. There's no way she didn't know about this. Why didn't she tell me? Her smile fades once she sees me and she gestures for me to sit next to her with a frown on her face. I tell Caleb that I'll be right back and head over to the couch that Millie is sitting on.
"You didn't tell me that Finn and I would be dating in the show." I spit quietly to her with an angry smile.
"I'm sorry. The only reason that i didn't tell you was because I was busy trying to get the Duffers to change it." She says back to me strongly.
"Did they?" I question with hope on my lips.
"You know the Duffers, once they think of a new storyline, they stick with it." She replies with a sad smile. Great. Now I have to act like I like him onstage too.
"Okay, guys. Get ready to roll in five!" Some guy shouts to us through the speaker system. Thank god this is a short interview. At this announcement, the rest of the kids join in, including Finn, and we are ushered up to the news set. They tell us where to sit (thankfully I'm next to Gaten) and we wait for the commercials to end while we get mic'ed up.
"And we're back! I'm Amanda Jones and this is 23 News. We're here with the cast of Netflix's Emmy-winning, hit tv show, Stranger Things!" She continues in her newswoman voice with the spiel being cued from an expensive-looking teleprompter. She continues on to ask us questions about the show. They're all the same in the beginning, what was your favourite part, so you relate to your characters, what made you want to be in stranger things, how will the new season be different, and more. This continues until Amanda Jones asks the next question.
"That was a really great answer, Mille. Next question, have any of you had any regrets while shooting the show so far?" She chirps.
What an odd question. Regrets? This show was one of the best experiences in my life, I thought to myself. Most of us just shook our heads, but Finn raised his hand.
"I know I do." He says calmly.
A man behind the camera in a nice suit starts mouthing curiously at him.
"If you do this Finn, you are done." The man mouths angrily at him, his face clenched and shaking. He grabs his forehead with stress, but Finn continues to speak.
