Zara's POV

"And that's the last one." Nurse Carol says as she puts down her tweezers. I smile and look at Finn, who's been by my side for hours.
"You did it. I knew you could." He beamed with a grin. He still hasn't let go of my hand.
"Thanks." I express.
"Can she go home?" I ask Nurse Carol.
"She can. Her mother already signed all of the papers. But she will need that wheelchair and those crutches." She shows us a wheelchair and a bag with crutches in the closet.
"Would you like me to show you how to use them?" Nurse Carol asks.
"Yes plea..." I start to say, but I'm cut off by Finn telling her that he can do it. She leaves.
"You don't have to help me." I say as I sit up on the bed.
"I want to help you. Not some random nurse." He smiles at me and lifts me up bridal style into the wheelchair, the crutches bag in the wheelchair's pocket. I look up at him and thank him. I start to roll the wheels as he opens the door. I laugh, "I look so stupid." I tell him.
"You look beautiful. And brave." He tells me. "Wanna race?" I ask him. He nods. I speed off as fast as my cut up arms can go down the longs corridor. He runs by my side and at the end of the hallway, we stop at the same time. It's a tie. "Don't worry. You still win." He promises me as he pushes me out of the hospital and into an Uber he ordered.

By the time we get back to the set it's like 4 am. Finn helps me out of the Uber and pays for it.
"Finn, you didn't have to pay too." I tell him.
"Don't worry about it." He demanded as he helped me out of the wheelchair and helps me balance with the crutches. And after a few minutes I somehow get into my trailer and I sit down on my bed. I jump at the sound of the trailer door closing.
"It's okay. Just the door." Finn tells me as he places my crutches on the floor. "You're safe here." He tells me as he pushes my hair behind my ear. "Thank you so much, Finn." I whispered.
"Do you need me to stay?" He asks. I shake my head, no. I feel safer with him here, but he's done enough for me.
"I put my number on your phone if you need anything. Goodnight." He states softly as he exits the trailer to go to his. I shut my eyes and fall asleep.

I wake up and most of my cuts have closed up. My bruises are lighter and my head doesn't hurt as much. But I knew there was going to be a scar from the surgery. I struggle to change into some leggings and a hoodie, but end up being able to do it. I don't remember the trailer, or the set. I want to explore. Then, there's a knock on my door. I use the crutches to get there and answer it.
"Good morning!" The girl says. I think her name is Millie.
"Millie?" I ask.
"Yea. Millie!" She smiles at me. "I was wondering if you wanted help catching up with what happened in the last few seasons of Stranger Things? I can help you rehearse your lines for this season." She offers. I agree. I really want to be in this show. Well, I guess I already have been, but I want to keep doing it.
We spend hours binge-watching the seasons and once in a while, Millie will pause it and explain something. I'm picking it up pretty fast.
By the time we've finished season 2, it's almost 6pm. She tells me she has to go to see Noah and packs up her things.
"Bye Millie!" I holler as she leaves. She says bye back and waves as she walks a few trailers down to Noah's. Now would be a great time to explore, I thought. I picked up my crutches and headed out the door. By now, I was pretty decent with them. I got to the end of the street and peered into one of the big warehouse looking buildings. Inside, they were shooting a scene. I remembered from watching with Millie that the set was the Byers's house. Joyce Byers was talking to Chief Hopper. I didn't want to interrupt, so I started to walk back to my trailer. On the way, I saw a familiar face standing at the door of my trailer.
"Hi, Finn." I say to him as he lowers his hand. He was about to knock on my door.
"Oh, hi! I was just about to knock. I didn't expect to see you up and about." He admits.
"I wanted to explore the set. Millie was helping me catch up on what happened in the show, I just wanted to see it in real life." I told him.
"Well, was it cool?" He asks.
"I only saw the Byers's house, but it was really cool." I tell him. A cool gust of air blows by, and I shiver.
"It's cold out here. Wanna come in?" I suggest.
"Sure." He smiles at me and we head inside my warm trailer. I stand in the middle of the room and look at him. He closes the door and walks up to me.
" I'm really glad you're okay." He says as he pulls me into a hug. I think he forgot I'm using crutches though, and I lose my balance and start to fall, but Finn catches me.
"I'M SORRY!" He says loudly as he holds onto my waist with one hand and picks up my crutches and gives them to me.
"It's fine. Here." I give him a hug with one hand and balance with the other. He hugs me back. After a second we pull away.
"I was going to ask you if you wanted to go out with me." He asks me with his brown eyes staring into mine.
"I would love that." I tell him as I watch him sigh in relief.
"How about I come get you tomorrow night at 6? An hour after we finish school?" Finn says.
"Sure." I reply slightly confused. School here?
"What's wrong?" Finn questions, noticing my confusion.
"Sorry, where's school?" I ask feeling stupid.
"Don't apologize. I'll walk you there. We start at 3." He tells me. I smile at him and thank him. "Goodnight, Zara." He tells me as he pulls me in for a hug, but this time I'm not worried.
I know he won't let me fall.
