"What happened?" Millie spoke with some concern on her face. I wanted to tell her that Noah still likes her. The truth is, I liked Millie being with Noah more than her being with Jacob. Noah just seemed more genuine. But I couldn't do that to her so I had to lie.
"I don't know, we just don't have good chemistry as a couple. I think it's better if we're just friends." I say.
"That's really mature of you, Zara. I'm proud." Mille smiles. I change into my pyjamas and crawl into my fluffy bed. I let the day melt away and fall asleep.

"Zara, wake up!" A British accent says to me.
"Morning, Millie"I yawn with a smile as I roll out of bed.
"What time do we start shooting?" She asks.
"Noon, so we better get going." I reply. We get dressed and drive to set.

"Okay, were going to start with scene 12A with Noah and Caleb in Mr. Clarke's classroom. The rest of you can start on your schoolwork." Ross Duffer shouts into a megaphone. Millie, Gaten, Finn, and I head down to the trailer where the teacher is. Everyone is complaining, but I'm silent because actually enjoy school. I'm good at it. We all get settled in. I'm sitting between Millie and Gaten, and Finn is on the end.

"Good morning, guys!" Mrs. Carson, the tutor chirps. We all greet her back and pull out our supplies.
"We're going to be starting a new science unit today..." She continues to talk but I zone out. I still get a slight grasp on what she's saying. Something about staring something to do with chemistry, but I just can't seem to focus today, I'm still processing last nights events.
"Zara, Zara!" Mrs. Carson calls and I snap out of my daze.
"Oh. Sorry." I reply.
"That's fine. We're talking about the electrolysis of water." She says as she points to a model with two test tubes and what appears to be a makeshift battery. "Who can tell me what side is which element and why?"
I raise my hand. Nobody else does anyway.

"The side with more gas is oxygen and the other side, with half as much gas is hydrogen, because there is double the amount of oxygen than hydrogen in water." I finish confidently.

"Perfect, Zara! Does anyone know how the contraption works?" Mrs. Carson exclaims.
"An electric current passes through?" I shout out.

"Right again!" She says.
"You're so smart, Zara!" Millie smiles at me. I tell her she's smart too, and Gaten high fives me.

"Okay, one last question on this example. What type of water is this?" Mrs. Carson asks. I know the answer and I start to speak, but before I can reply, Finn stands up and stops me.

"Zara, can you shut up and let other people have a chance? Nobody cares about you or your answers. You're such a know-it-all." Finn spits, staring staight into my eyes.

I look away from him and get up to leave. I feel a lump forming in my throat. I run out of the trailer and onto the tarmac just as Mrs. Carson starts to scold Finn. My vision starts to blur from tears. I don't even really know why I'm crying. I don't even care. I don't give a damn what Finn thinks. But the words he yelled at me still stabbed at me like a knife. I didn't know that someone who you cared so little about could make you hurt so strongly. I ran to my trailer and shut all the curtains. I sobbed into my pillow and cried for what seemed like hours. A few moments later, I got a text from Millie.

Millie: Z, I can't believe Finn said that to you. What an idiot. All of us care a lot about you and your smarts help us learn. He's probably just jealous. I'l let you have space. Let me know if you need anything. ❤️

I throw my phone onto my bed. I feel like I overreacted, but at the same time I feel hurt. Just then, I hear a knock at the door.
