"So, how are you?" Jed asked me, after he had pushed my chair in for me.
"I'm good, enjoying my time off after a busy period" I explained, watching as he sat down too.
"That's good, you were in LA recently right?" He said, as I glanced down at the menu.
"Yeah it was a tonne of promo then we got back and did promo but as you probably saw we had to cut it short." I told him, smiling when he nodded.
"Oh yeah, how is Perrie by the way?" He asked, glancing down at his own menu.
"She's good, it was just a small bug and she'll be back on it in no time" I told him, deciding, in my mind, I'd go for the Lasagne.
"That's good, what are you going to get?" He asked me connecting our eyes.
"I was thinking the Lasagne, it's my favourite food" I explained.
"I love lasagne! I think I'm going to go for the risotto"
"Sounds delicious, so how are you? I feel like all I've spoken about is me" I said smiling shyly.
"I like speaking about you don't worry," she said making me blush more. I looked at the table and pulled my sleeves over my hands, almost as if I was trying to hide away. "Awe you're cute when you blush, don't hide away Jade," he said, moving a hand to my chin, tilting my head up so I faced him, laying his hand on mine. "That's better, I can see those stunning eyes and that beautiful smile" he said, tracing his thumb over my lip. Both of us began leaning in. This was it, I was going to kiss the man I had been talking to for weeks. The man of my dreams.
Jesy
An hour earlier
"Jesy, your friends are in the living room" Jake said, with a kiss on the head.
"What? Who? How?" I asked him, rubbing sleep out of my eyes.
"Perrie and Leigh, I let them in, I knew you'd still be asleep." he told me, throwing me my dressing gown as I sat up.
"Oh, tell 'em I'll be down in a sec, I've just got to have a wee and brush my teeth" I yawned, slipping my feet into the slippers Jake placed under my feet.
"Will do, I love you" he smiled, kissing my head again.
"Love you too" I replied, padding into the en suite to do my business, curious why my friend's were here, I'm sure they had stuff to do toda.... wait, wasn't Pez's first appointment today, shit, I hadn't wished her luck. I quickly finished up and ran downstairs seeing Jake admiring some photos.
"Aww they're already so cute" I heard him chuckle making me smile.
"Hi guys" I said with a wave, "so is this my niece or nephew?" I asked, as I perched on Jake's knee.
"Uh huh, aren't they cute Jesy!" Leigh squealed as Pez sat and smiled.
"Yep, and already loved beyond measure" I grinned, as Jake cycled through the pictures and I patted Perrie's knee.
"Thanks Jesy" she smiled, laying her hand on mine, I could tell she was still feeling quite delicate but I could also see the glint of excitement in her eyes.
"So tell me about it, how was it?" I quizzed, handing her the pictures back.
"It was good, we heard it's heart and saw how long it was. It was just very reassuring. I have to have a blood test in a couple of days because I fainted but other than that it was great." She told me, with a frown, as she tucked the pictures away in her bag.
"We'll I think they're a given when you're expecting baba, now thanks for coming over to show us them, can I get you anything to drink?" I asked, patting my legs and standing up.
