Perrie POV

"Mam, we need to go, I don't want to be late!" I called up the stairs to the guest bed room where my mam was.

"Coming love, just needed the loo!" she shouted back at me which made me chuckle.

I watched, with a nervous smile, as she hurried down the stairs to me, linking my arm with hers and saying, "right then my love, let's go!" She swung open my front door and called the lift. Once we were down stairs we exited the building to be greeted a series of cameras flashing in my face. Instinctively I lowered my hands so it was resting on my hidden bump, as if to protect it. I kept my head down and just walked straight ahead to the car that was waiting for me. My driver slid the door open and I climbed in, my mum close behind me. He jumped the car into gear and began driving me to the doctors.

"Oh god, they're going to follow me." I said worried, still wanting to keep it a secret from the public just a little bit longer, until I knew what I was having.

"Don't worry miss, I'll lose them, I just need to confuse them." He reassured me.

Despite this I still began ringing my fingers and tapping my foot, as I looked out of the window. I felt Mam's hand on mine and heard her say "It's ok Pez, don't worry about it. Just focus on how excited you are today, don't let them put a dampener on it." I nodded and started to calm down more, "that's it, now what do you think it is?" she asked me, moving closer to me. I rested my head on her shoulder, enjoying the closeness to my mum. That was the weird thing I had discovered, I felt closer to my mum now than I had ever felt in my life. I felt like I understood everything she had felt every little emotion and it felt glorious.

"I don't know, as long as it's healthy I don't care." I told her, looking at my bump.

"I know that, but you must have an instinct." she pushed, trying to get a more specific answer.

"hmmm, I really don't know." I said truthfully, "what about you Mamma, what do you think it is?"

"Based on all the old wives tales we did last night, I'm going to say its a ... girl" She said to me, laying her hand on my 'bump that was covered by layers and layers of clothes so no-one figured it out.

I giggled a little before saying to my driver "And what do you think it is Dave?"

"Ha ha I think its a boy personally, by the way I've lost 'em now so I'll pull into the back car park of the hospital soon" He infromed us, glancing back at me in my mirror.

"Thanks!" I said, climbing out when the car came to a stop.

This was it, I was less than half an hour away from knowing what my little nugget was and I couldn't be more excited.

"What is it Pez, tell us please!" Jade pestered the minute I walked into reherals after my doctors appointment.
"Hmmm, not until I've gone for a wee, I'm bursting." I told them, rushing to the toilet.

Once I was done I came back out and they began pestering once more.

"I'm not telling you, until hear what all of you think it is!" I said, setting my bag down which had the pictures in it, then sitting down in front of it.

"Fine, I think its a girl," Jade said, plonking down next to me.

"Boy" Jesy shouted, joining us

"Same" Leigh-Anne said sitting next to Jesy.

"Girl" Claud said, sitting on my other side.

"Me too" Randall added after him, sitting next to him.

"Boy" Kieran said, sitting next to them

"Girl" Darron exclaimed, closing the cricle.

"ah so we have 4 for girl and 3 for boy, I can now reveal that it is ... drum roll please ...." They all groaned and began banning their hands of the floor. I smiled, enjoying the power I had over the room. "aaaaaaaaaa..." I said chuckling at all their excited faces.

"BABY!" I shouted, colapsing back in fits of laughter at all their reactions.

"PERRIE PLEASE WE'RE DYING HERE!" Jesy shouted, reaching over to hit me on the leg.

"Yeah that's not fair Pez, we know its a baby!" Leigh added on the end.

"Okay, okay so drum roll please it is a....." I said, sitting up and watching them hit the ground once more, the excitement thick in the room.
