18 - He is just being the best

(A/N: I didn't put any specific idol cast on purpose for a reason. So that anyone can imagine any idol they want.)

I really appreciate everyone in my life because I think they are precious. My family and friends taught me a lot about life more than I expected. I can't thank them enough for everything but there is only one person whom I really want to thank straight from the bottom of heart because he is always there when I need him; when I am in pain or when I just need someone to talk to. I know it is weird for me, a girl, to have a boy as my best friend but actually it is he who has taught me so much about life.

I knew him when we were in the second year of high school. He was a new student but the first time I saw him, I knew he was special. He was a small guy. He reminded me of my little brother. At first, I was scared to go near him but when time passed, I became closer to him. He was a nice boy but just a bit naughty. I started trusting him and told him my secrets. The biggest secret I told him was I liked someone who was very close to him. He also told me some of his secrets.

When I start to recall the past, I can see some resemblance between us. We both suffer from stage-fright. We also share the same interests and hobbies. We like English very much. It is funny to know that we have such similarities all these years which we have never noticed before. I created a line 'let yesterday's pain becomes tomorrow's laughter' because he always keeps on smiling although he is in trouble or pain. He just laughs when we talk about it later again.

Now I'm just happy that he is with someone he really loves but we are still close. I just want the best for him because he is a nice boy. He deserves the best because he is just being the best. I am so thankful to be blessed with a good friend. Thank you very much.
