Chapter 7

Daniel's POV:

"W-What? A-A-Ask her on a... a d-date?!" I yelled at Rylan. "Come on! Ask Y/N on a date! It'll be romantic!" He begged. "Nope. Never." I crossed my arms while shaking my head.

Y/N's POV:

"Ooh! Look! A poster for prom!" Dottie pointed out. "Geez. Every Junior and Senior has been talking about it. What's so special about it anyway?" I asked looking at the poster. "Prom is like the best part of the whole year. Plus, if a certain werewolf asks you to prom, you can go." Dottie poked me, obviously referring to Daniel.

"Daniel's not going to ask me. Nobody is." I sighed. "Just watch. I bet you a lot of the werewolves will ask you!" Dottie always stayed on the bright side. "All the werewolves will ask Aph, and when she rejects them, I'll just be a second option to them." I looked at the ground.

"I bet there's at least one werewolf who will have you as their first choice!" Dottie put her arm around my shoulder. "Like who?" I asked removing her arm from my shoulders. "Daniel!" Dottie quickly said. "Daniel doesn't like me like that. You know that. I know that." I just accepted it by now.

Dottie's POV:

Geez. Y/N sure is oblivious, but that's what makes her, her. Daniel is obviously going to ask her. Rylan's probably begging him to ask her now. "Look on the bright side, you get to stay home and play video games!" (A/N: if you don't like video games, pretend it's something you like to do)

"True..." Y/N sighed. "Come on cheer up!" I shook Y/N. She was probably still tired. She tried to put on a smile, but it didn't work out too well. "Well... um..." I looked for an excuse. "Hey! Here come Daniel and Rylan!" I pointed to the two boys walking down the hall towards us.

"H-H-Hey Y/N..." Daniel stuttered a lot more. "S-So I was wondering if you... um..." He turned to Rylan. "What do I do!?" He whisper-yelled. "Just do it. Come on!" Rylan whisper-yelled back. "Fine.." He turned back to Y/N.

"W-W-Will you uh... g-g-go to prom with m-me?" He asked. It's about time!! I'm so proud of Daniel!! "I... uh...." Y/N looked at me. I nodded. "Y-Yes." She smiled like a cute anime girl.

Y/N's POV:

Daniel asked me to prom!! I could see Dottie fangirling. I was too, but on the inside. I can't wait to tell mom that I got a date for prom!
