Theora Botsaris, the second daughter of Demos and Fiona Botsaris. She comes from a very traditional Greek American family and as per those traditions which state that families arrange marriages of their children between other Greek families in the same social standing as them. Theora's parents arrange her to marry someone she has never met. With her ever determined Yiayia (grandmother in Greek) reminding her of responsibilities and tradition every step of the way Theora accepts her parents decision as fate and agrees to marry a complete stranger.
Nicholas Markopoulos is the playboy son of Leon and Odelle Markopoulos who wants nothing to do with an arranged marriage let alone the girl who comes with it. But with his inheritance on the line he reluctantly agrees to the marriage.
