Chapter 23 ~ Good For Him

Hr: "And I just put my tanning oil on!!" She huffed

BM: "Well we're sorry. Maybe you can come later." With that we all got in the water.

Tj: "I hate her!"

The day soon came to an end and we all went to the hotel. I was staying at the balcony and i had rested my shoulder at the wall watching the view in front of me. It was windy and i was feeling a bit cold but the beautiful sea which now was one with the big dark sky made me forget about the chills my body got. All i could think about was the amazing day i had with my friends and how great it was to be on vacation after such a long time. Nothing could go wrong, i thought to myself, this is what paradise looks like.

My thoughts were interrupted by something soft covering my body. I jumped a little and quickly turned around. Behind me was a smiling Matthew throwing a blanket on my shoulders.

Bm: "You should join us for dinner, it will soon be served. Also don't stay out like this or you'll catch a cold and not enjoy your vacation," he wrapped the blanket around me and then ruffled my hair, "we'll be waiting for you." With that he left.

I couldn't help but smile my mouth to my ears. Why is he so caring towards me? Why is he always the one that helps me? I want to do something for him too. That's it! Tonight is the night. I will do something good for him!

I went downstairs to the restaurant and everybody had already sat. I was hopping my way to the table and i was smiling like crazy.

Jw: "Yo what happened? You look way more happy than usual."

Sm: "Oh do i?" I started giggling

Jiwoo gave me a strange look and then said "Ok now you are creeping me out"

Sm: "I'm sorry, I'm just in a good mood. Wow, won't you look at the food, it looks delicious!!" I started eating but my ear suddenly caught something.

Bm: "Oh man if only i had a bottle of beer rn so i could show you that trick."

I turned my face at Jiwoo and said "I'll be back in a sec" i got up and went up to the bartender.

A few minutes later...

"Oh man i seriously don't know why i bought this beer when i don't even drink alcohol, if only there was someone who'd want this unopened bottle of beer."

Matt turned his head and said "Oh, Somin, do you mind if i take it??"

Sm: "Oh Matt, what a coincidence, ofc i don't!! Here you can have it" with that i handed him the beer.

Bm: "Thanks, you're the best"

Sm: "Ohoho dont mention it" i started evil grinning.

Jw: "Emm Somin, what are you doing?" She appeared behind me.

Sm: "I'm doing something good" i kept grinning while looking at Matt drinking the beer i gave him.

Jw: "You are being creepy girl" she raised an eyebrow at me.

Sm: "Oh wait!! Matthew finished his meat. Im sure he's gonna want more." With that i ran.

|Jiwoo's P.O.V|

I kept looking at Somin. Why was she acting so weird?? All she did was spying at Matthew who was having a good time with the boys. I think she wants to get his attention or something? I just don't get her sometimes.

"OH I'M SO FULL!! Hey Matt, I'm already full so do u want this meat??"

Seriously, what is she doing?

|Somin's P.O.V|

'Ughh what am i doing?? This is nothing compared to what he does for me. I'm hopeless.' At that moment i looked at him but he wasn't with the boys anymore. He was in a corner talking to Taejoon and it didn't seem friendly at all, it was flirty. She then pulled his hand and they both started dancing.

They were all laughy-laughy with each other and it was killing me. I sat on a chair at a table and got myself a beer. The music was loud and everyone was dancing but i was drinking. True that nothing big had happened and they were just dancing, and of course that i had no right to be mad about whom he talks to but since that day at the shop, i couldnt see them together. The fact that he may fall for her was really torturing me.

"I thought you didn't drink."

"Huh?" I turned around and there he was, standing there with all his glory. "Oh hi Matt! Well I'm feeling kinda down." I looked down at my bottle

Bm: "Oh why, what's wrong??" He sat next to me and looked at me concerned

Sm: "It's no big deal, trust me" i said reassuringly

Bm: "Well i hope so. Just know that we are all here for u"

At that moment the loud energetic music went down and a lovely ballade started playing. Couples started dancing together. It was lovely, but not as much as Matthew's smile when he stretched his hand out to me and asked: "Would you like to dance?"

I blushed immediately but shyly accepted. There we were now, in the dance floor dancing. His strong hands, which now were gentle, were holding my waist as i placed mine on his shoulders. We were dancing to the calm music and it felt as if i was being carried from an angle.

As we kept swinging around the room he suddenly pulled me closer to himself and now, he hadn't just placed his hands on my waist, but his arms were holding me tighly to his body. He lowered his head and placed it on my shoulder.

Sm: "Mattew are you ok?"

Bm: "Somin, i...."
