Talk about stupidity.

I let myself got abducted by someone.

Well, I think I know who did that.

It's Jason.

Of course, he's the desperate one to do that.

And I'm sure Charles is way beyond enrage by now.

Because I can feel it.

And it's not a good sign, I mean Charles getting angry.

Since the last time he got angry, he almost wrecked the whole town where we were residing.

Because I left not leaving a note.

And he thought I was abducted by a gang of a yakuza in the local.

I was an abducting type material before, so he kept on freaking out because I don't defend myself and kept on pretending a fragile teen.

So I promised myself I won't do it again.

But this time, I was really kidnapped.

I open my eyes and scanned my surrounding.

I'm lying in a waterbed with satin for a bedsheet.

Talk about a luxurious bed that I don't like.

"Good, you're awake."

I turn my head towards the voice. Jason.

"Thank you for sending out your slaves. I didn't think that you'll revive my best friend." He said.

"They're not slaves. They're my companions." I said.

"Sure thing. They keep you company while I'm away." He walked towards the edge of the bed. "But now, you're mine."

He's a frigging maniac, I'm telling you. It's giving me goosebumps. Gross.

"They keep on guarding you whenever you're inside the office. Of course, that's the only time I'm available, as I have some affairs to attend to. But that is the hole I've been waiting." He smiled like a madman.

I sighed internally. Is there really no other way besides killing him? He can't be admitted to a mortal asylum since he doesn't get old. We immortals don't have asylums and whatnot. We dispatch them fast to avoid a mess and further damage.

"Are you hungry? Thirsty?" He asked when he noticed I'm not talking.

"I want to go home," I said.

"You're home, Cass. Right here beside me." He said.

"No. The Jason I know won't do dirty and underhanded tricks like this. I'm going home."

"To where?" He snarled. "To those soul weapons of yours? To the nobles? And that immortal Frankenstein? Tell me, who's your new lover there? One of the nobles? Or enhanced human? Or Charles? Or your secretary? Or the kids that always visit there? Or the male version of you? Who? Tell me so that I can kill whoever he is."

"Go to pit, Jason. I don't have any lover. I have my family. And they are my family. Not you."

He growled in anger. Of course, that would piss him, he feels the negative emotions more than the positive ones.

I stood up and tried to open the door. It was locked.

"You won't be able to go out without permission." He said behind me.

"Try me, Jason. Charles is already angry at you. So if you don't want this place wrecked enough not to be recognized, let me go." I said flatly.

He smirked. "You might be an immortal, but you're not strong enough to annihilate this place."

I kicked the door, sending it outside the room and walked out not bothering to look at him. "Not strong, huh? I'm stronger than the other nobles, Jason. You don't know much about me."

I know he's shocked with the prowess I displayed in front of him. He really did thought I was a damsel-in-distress needing a knight-in-shining-armor for a happy ending.

I destroyed every wall I see in front of me while walking ahead. No turns and twist, just straight ahead. And that direction ended up in a familiar street.

With a few turns, I will be home.

Ignoring the shouts inside the destroyed house, I walked casually until I reached the last corner where Frankie's house is.

I walked inside the house, surprising everyone who was having an emergency meeting, probably because I was abducted.

And for someone who's abducted, I have the guts to casually walk into the scene, not making a fuss nor giving a piece of bad news.

But their surprise didn't last long when Frankie spoke. "Where have you been, young lady?"

"Cass is abducted! I keep on telling you this! We can feel it." Charles insisted.

"If she is, then why is she here?" Karias asked.

"That's a simple question, Karias," Daniel said. "She escaped. What do you think of her? A damsel-in-distress one?"

"Then who abducted her?" Tao asked.

Everyone looked at me, expecting an answer. Of course, I will answer.

"Jason."

As soon as the name was said, Charles looked like he's ready to kill.

"Oi, Charles. Are you planning to destroy the town?" I said. "You know, that idiot chose a street near here that's why I got home. Fast."

"Where is it?" Daniel asked.

"Just a few turns there and you will see a wrecked house. I just did it to get out." I explained.

Daniel and Tao laughed at my work. Frankie looked like wanted to faint. And the others have a shocked face, except Dad (still on emotionless to showing progress) and Shiro (real talk, not all dogs can show emotions). Sure, not all abducted people don't do that. Destroying the place where they were held.

I think it's only me who does that. I mean a person who's sane but in a calm state wouldn't do that.

But that doesn't mean I'm crazy.

In the end, Dad just gazes at me softly. Worry and relief can be seen in his eyes, and I can feel it, at least not apathetic enough to be dense about other's emotion towards me.

Shiro casually walked towards me and nudged my calf to pet him, just making sure I'm here in front of them, safe and sound.

I think the phrase 'There is no place like home' is true after all.

A/N:
I think this will be my last update, for now. I have tons of deadlines for the next week, and also midterms the other week. So I'm quite busy for now. Please bear a little bit..

Anyways, all of the chapters has 1000+ words so I think it's a bit short for a chapter, but when I tried to read it, it's actually long. I didn't expect that.

Enjoy reading, everyone!
