Worst-case scenario.

I'm in my lazy mode.

That means I don't like to move too much or do anything this day.

And I have this case every month.

But this month, it's worse.

I just want to curl up in the queen-sized bed inside my room, thanks to Frankie.

I might not be sleeping on regular basis as humans do, but I appreciate the softness of the bed that lulls you to sleep.

Right now, my body doesn't want to do anything, even lifting my fingers and get out of the bed.

But it was cut short when Frankenstein barged inside the room and lifted me, putting on his shoulders.

"Get up, Cass. I don't like the atmosphere in the sitting room. Control them." He said as he brought us towards the sitting room.

Sure thing, it was a bit tensed. They're glaring at one another. Charles and co. versus nobles and the enhanced.

"So what's the fuss?" I asked lazily while still on Frankie's shoulder.

I can't see them as I see Frankie's back. He's facing them.

"Anyway, it's weekdays. You guys are still here? Where's dad?"

Frankie set me down on a single sofa, where I can see everyone. I leaned back and looked at them lazily.

"Daniel, you have to be at the office now. Nico, you should be at school. Shiro should be at my bed, and Charles, you. The airplane." I scolded them.

Seriously, I really don't want to do anything right now. "If you're debating over something that's not crucial enough for your and everyone's survival, drop it. I don't like wasting my time listening to nonsense things."

"Businessman's line," Frankie mumbled under his breath. He knows I can hear him.

"Hey! Don't involve my business at my picked habits to humans." I said. "Besides, you were just like that before. So don't point out."

Of course, that idiot doesn't want his past to be known by others, and it ticks him off. And that's my trump card and blackmail for him.

He rolled his eyes at my retort. Of course, he knows what I'm talking about. "Compared to master, at least you can complete a phrase when talking. But you don't express enough emotion to your statements so it looks like you mean business."

"I can express my feelings in my own way, Frankie. You just don't know."

"No. You are just one of those stony-faced businessmen that putting in their walls up, not letting any feelings pass for the sake of their success." He retorted.

I raised an eyebrow at that thought. "Really now? At least I'm not a lovesick puppy that follows his master everywhere."

He got angry. Yes, because I insulted him.

Charles laughed. I may have a sarcastic and tight-lipped personality, that sometimes interpreted as an insult to anyone who will hear that.

But not to Charles and Daniel's case, as they are used to it.

"Well, just leave everyone. I'm still here when you come back for later. Besides, Jason can't come here so easily. I have Shiro and Nico here with me. If something happened, like annoying me or similar to it, I'll just kill them. Okay?" I dismissed them just to change the subject.

Charles and Daniel shook their heads, avoiding to laugh. The nobles and the humans looked at me like I've grown a mushroom in the head.

Frankie sighed. "Once you're in that state, no one really can disturb you, eh? Well, I should go. I'm already late. I might have a meeting this day that I must attend."
