It's been three years.
Three years since the fight with 'Dark' Jason.
And it's been three years since I tried to do something out of my comfort zone.
And that is trekking.
I met a gal a few months ago in a convention for books, as I was looking for some interesting books to be added in my collection. And then she started to talk about trekking and mountaineering.
Judging by her expression, she really did love doing it.
I'm not against on that kind of adventure, but in Lukedonia we don't trek the mountain there, as it was one of the fields where we practice our powers and combat fighting.
But humans use it for recreational activity and to have some fun.
She encouraged me to join her to trek a virgin mountain somewhere in Europe, which I agreed right away.
I don't know what or why I agreed, because next thing I know, I'm preparing for the trip.
But what was the fate had delivered to me?
I didn't expect this one to come.
Nor Daniel and Charles who accompanied me that day to go to the mountain.
I wasn't given some clues for that.
If I have a heart ailment, probably I went to arrest and died on the spot.
It may be sound so ridiculous, but it can happen.
But not to me.
I mean the cardiac arrest.
Somewhat ridiculous.
Because I saw them.
We saw them.
We saw Jason.
Together with Amanda.
They were reincarnated.
Do you believe that?
Because I do.
And if you have a nasty death and thirst for revenge or your goal isn't achieved yet, your wound will be a birthmark when you reincarnated.
But by the looks of their body, Amanda doesn't have a slit birthmark in her neck.
And she looks more alive and real right in front of our eyes.
That we weren't hallucinating and she's solid.
The 'tears' dropped from my eyes when I saw them.
They were really real.
Charles almost ran and hugged Amanda, but he considers the circumstances if she's the Amanda that we know.
And we didn't regret the decision of not confronting her.
Because she has a new name.
But she's still the same Amanda we knew and loved.
As for Jason, his eyes what gave him away. No matter how long it has been, his sapphire blue eyes take my breath away.
No wonder I loved him.
Even if there are flaws in front of me, they are not the reason for me to leave him but instead stay by his side no matter how many problems and struggles we face.
He's the only who can do it to me.
To make me feel like a human, not as a noblesse or any mythical creature that humans can think of.
But what made the 'tears' spill more out of my eyes were this:
"You're crying again, Eli. I told you, I don't want to see you crying. Charles and Jane might kill me if they see you crying in front of me."
He smiled at me while wiping the tears at my face. I tried to smile at him. "Welcome back, Jason." I murmured.
"Yes, I'm back, Eli. I'm home."
