ONE
The encounter of Frankenstein to Cassielle

It has been a year since another presence resided in the Noblesse's home.

Judging by the behavior of the head of the clan, it really looks like he's the only one living there until Frankenstein, the immortal human, barged in and pretended to be the butler of the household.

But Raizel being him, he didn't mind someone barging his home, nor fear for his life which made Frankenstein questionable until he found out Raizel's powers.

But he didn't know that there's someone living there besides Raizel.

Cassielle tried to get out of her place one day wearing a white blouse and black slacks and putting her hair down, she strolled the corridors to meet her father.

But she was already halfway there when Frankenstein saw her. Strolling casually and smoothly like she's not walking and touching the ground.

Frankenstein felt goosebumps when he saw her. Yes, she's beautiful, but she's the feminine version of Raizel like Raizel changed feminine clothes and tried to prank him.

Also, the dominating presence she releases makes him hesitate to speak.

So, he ran towards the room where Rai was and found the latter gazing at the window like he didn't move an inch.

Frankenstein's face paled. If his master was there, who's the one that is walking?

Sooner, the door opened. Frankenstein braced himself and steeled his nerves. Despite obtaining human souls as an experiment, he's afraid of ghost.

"Who are you? If you're trying to kill my master, I won't let you, you copy!" He said as he put himself between the two.

Cassielle raised an eyebrow before she spoke. "What kind of mental stray you picked up this time, dad?"

Raizel looked at her. "He's our new butler."

"Because he said so? Does Uncle Muzaka knows?"

"..."

"Kick him out of here, Dad. I don't care if he has approvals of the Lord."

That irked Frankenstein. The way she speaks is like he doesn't exist here.

"He's bounded to me." That was the bomb that shook Cassielle.

"No sh--"

"That language that you learn from books, refrain saying that." Raizel cut her.

"What kind of insanity is this?" She said and she turned to Frankenstein. "And you abnormal human. Did you put your blood on his drink?"

"Did you  just called me abnormal?" Frankenstein asked.

"Why, can't accept the fact? Humans don't live long like you. Does the crave for knowledge drive you to this?" Cassielle said.

"For a brat like you, you talk a lot." He murmured.

"I can hear you, kid. If you think you're older than me, think again."

Frankenstein thought. Is she telling me that she's way old despite her looks?

TWO
How Frankenstein tried to win Cassielle's favor

Frankenstein earned Cass' acceptance after a few months before another year will pass.

Let's just say he really put an effort to be recognized by the heiress of the title.

From attending to her needs -- which is not necessary for her opinion -- to following her wherever she goes.

Cass never utters a word after that incident. But honestly, she enjoys Frankenstein's company whenever she stays at the library, as the latter still keep on experimenting whenever he has time. But she never will say it in front of him.

But one day, Erga -- Erga Kenesis Di Raskreia, lord's daughter -- went to the mansion to visit her and saw Frankenstein sitting across Cassielle casually.

"Cass." Erga greeted.

Cass nodded as greet, not turning her head towards the greeter.

Frankenstein saw Erga and an unpleasant feeling spread over his body.

He had encountered the Lord himself, and how the latter annoy the former so he's a bit tensed when he saw the heiress.

"Who's that?"

"Dad's slave," Cass said curtly.

Frankenstein's angry vein popped.

"For a slave, he's sitting calmly in front of you." Erga noticed. "And he sits like he's welcome to the household."

Frankenstein raised a brow.

"I'm not his master," Cass said. "If he did something that can destroy the place, I'll hit the master and slave both."

Another angry vein pops.

"Why don't you kick him out of here? I'm sure someone is looking for him out there." Erga suggested.

"Yeah. The last time I snuck out, they're looking for him." She said.

And added. "To kill him. Besides, I already tried, but dad won't agree. As long as he doesn't get in my way it's fine unless he wants to be a strip of bacon."

Bacon? Frankenstein said in mind. She cooks?

"If you're planning to cook him, I will not eat him. I'm not to human flesh," Erga said.

"Excuse me." Frankenstein cut in. "You young ladies speak of me like I did not exist in your front."

Both girls looked at him with a blank face then turn back to their conversation.

"He has guts to talk back in front of us, despite being a slave," Erga commented.

"He has a sharp tongue," Cass added.

"I'll talk to dad to kick him out of our territory." She suggested.

"Hey!" He complained. He's getting pissed as they ignored him.

"Too troublesome. Our fathers won't agree with that. And the Lord is enjoying tormenting him, as what I've heard. So it's fine." Cass said.

"So, can I fight him?" Erga asked.

Cass stood up and left them. But before she entirely left the room, she turned her head towards Frankenstein.

"Don't get killed, or else I'll revive you and kill you myself."

What a good way to get approval...
