It's all going to end, I thought, as Rascal stood over me, shuffling his cards.
He cocked his head, studying me with curiosity.

Rascal slowly melted into maniacal laughter.
He won...
"That pixie... he didn't even put up a fight!!!"
I couldn't...
"I was planning on destroying Queen Candy right now, but..."
Rascal laughed harder.
"If it's going to make the subjects of that Queen fall deeper into despair, I might as well let them suffer!!!"
"Rascal!!!" Emily screamed.
"Pop!!!" Lily shouted, running over to pick me up.

Rascal seemed confused by the girls intrusion.
He teleported to where I couldn't see him.
"Rascal, stop right now!!!" Chloe shouted in frustration.
Emily patted Lily's shoulder.
"Help Pop, okay?"
Lily nodded.
Emily rushed off.
I can't... they should just... join me...
"Pop, can you hear me? I-I... don't know what to do... please Pop, wake up!!!"
Lily hugged me.

I remembered Lily doing the same thing in the Library of Legends. I had said...

The negative energy fizzled off my body with laughter.
"Guys, Pop's okay!" Lily dropped me and ran over to join the others.
Rascal was laughing.
"A group of pathetic human girls and one pixie think they can stop me!? Oh, quit it with such jests!!!"
Rascal put a playing card between each finger, and spun around rapidly, making dark energy particles.
We were pushed back by the force of the energy.
"A-ah!!!" The girls screamed.
Rascal sprinted to Chloe, holding her close to him. Their faces were nearly touching.
