Hi! Long time, no story. Sorry if I made anyone wait for too long, I've just been real busy with life and stuff. I also didn't know where to go with the story. I'm back, and I'll try to update whenever I can.

Rascal's Perspective:

I was floating above the yard where (Y/n) was dueling a construct of Glitter Breeze.

I admit, I was a tad bit surprised when, (Y/n) of all people, decided to trick her enemy. I mean, all of Nogo's other minions would say their malicious plans outright, leaving the Glitter Force plenty of time to develop a counter stategy and execute.

I thought that she was just a bookworm of a minion, but I was pleasantly surprised when she went against the battle strategies I taught her.

Of course, this Glitter Breeze was only a construct, a fake sentience inside a shell of dark magic. The real warriors would be harder to fool.

(Y/n) was quite impressive, nimbly dodging a blocking attacks like a pro.

She must have inherited that from me, I thought with a giggle.

However, at the same time, she moved with such grace and femine quality that it was hard to mistake who that came from.

The construct was preparing her special attack, Sparkle Blizzard.

(Y/n) launched herself up, readying her sword and ice card.

"Glitter Force! Sparkle... Blizzard!" The construct shouted in a voice like un-breaking glass.

(Y/n) was ready. She froze the attack of snow shards with her ice card, sticking the particles together like glue. She then cut though the attack with strikes in rapid succession.

The attack was no good.

The construct fell to the ground.

(Y/n) landed on the ground, turning her rapier into minature ice cards. More cards came into the vicinity, forming an arrow shape.

She clasped her hands together. "Moon Card Blizzard Strike!!!"

Only a blank playing card lay on the ground.

(Y/n) was tired. She panted, trying to catch her breath.

"Splendid! I'm sure that you have noticed by now, but you just defeated a construct of a Glitter gal!"

(Y/n) looked up, and smiled, big. "Ha ha, yep!!!"

All as according to plan, I thought to myself, as I laughed along with my daughter.

(A/n: I wrote that about two or three weeks ago, but writer's block got a hold of me! Wah!!!)

Your Perspective:

You were playing a game of cards. Not with anyone else, but by yourself.

It was a normal deck of cards, too. Not you or your father's magic ones. They had a black, white, and red design on the back.

You took one of the cards from the row of four on the top, the Queen of Diamonds, and placed it on the column of the Diamond suit below.

You took three cards from the leftover pile, all face down, and flipped the three over.

Yes, the Queen of Hearts! You thought.
