Hi, I hope you enjoy reading this.

Your Perspective:

Father appeared in a rush of playing cards, ink, and gold. He collapsed on the ground as you approached him.

"Father!"

You could see it clearly. There was a lot of blood on the right side of his torso.

How...can this...be...?

Father shouldn't be able to bleed...

You teleported the both of you to father's bedroom.

You levitated your father into the chair. You examined bloody area.

You were hoping that it was someone else's blood, one of the Glitter Force's for example, but it was an actual wound.

You got some medical supplies from the bathroom. You had never treated anyone before, and you didn't want to hurt him even more, so you got a magical patch you found.

It didn't seem like it was made by your father's or master's magic, so you assumed that it was from the Inbetween World, from before you came there.

You placed it on the cut, and it automatically adjusted it's shape to help cover it better.

Your father flinched and began breathing faster. You watched him for a few moments, and he seemed okay for the most part. He wasn't awake, though, and since he had bled out, you couldn't stop yourself from worrying.

You paced for a while, questions swimming through your head. It felt like a long time, but it was mostly likely mere moments. You were trying to figure it all out, then-

You consciously noticed what had made you so uneasy.

The corner of father's mask was cracked.

"H-how...?" You whispered.

It was apart of him, just as full of energy as his body, connected beyond flesh. Yet, it was cracked. Fractured. Broken.

You clenched your teeth.

Father...

You reached out to touch his face, and-

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

Your father clutched his mask in agony.

"Father, are you...are you okay...?!"

He froze. He lifted his hand slowly away from his mask. He was shaking.

"(Y/n)..." He breathed in a shallow breath.

He stayed silent for 10 full seconds.

"Yes, Father...? Wh-what is it...?" You said meekly.

He got to his feet, and with a firm conviction, put his hands on your shoulders, meeting your gaze.

"What do you...?" You tried to ask.

"...I'm sorry.... I'm sorry, (Y/n). I...I told you things that...that shouldn't be said. Ever."

"Huh... What are you...?" You asked.

Your father drew his hands back to his face, folded inward, and began to sob.

"I-"

Father...?

"I'm-"

How is this...?

"I'm so-"

Why...?
