"Look, Aileen. W-We'll uh... Talk later, okay?" Jungkook said as he pulled my arm and guided us out of the cafeteria.

"It's Irene!" She yelled at Jungkook, staring at me in anger.

Jungkook brought me behind the school, which was deserted and looked behind him.

He sighed in relief when there weren't any signs of anyone.

"Sorry about that," he said, sighing. "What were you going to say?"

"O-Oh, um... I just wanted to a-apologise," I said sheepishly, scratching the back of my head. "A-And I changed my mind... I'll be in a team with y-you."

Jungkook's eyes lit up as he squealed excitedly. I giggled.

"Thank you so much!" He said, hugging me.

I was taken by surprise at his sudden hug attack. He didn't seem to notice mg awkwardness as he continued hugging me and thanking me.

He pulled away and took out his phone, handing it to me.

I stared blankly at him, causing him to roll his eyes as he smiled.

"Type in your number. We can discuss things easier that way." I nodded and punched in my digits.

He looked at the contact name and smiled. "So I can call you Tae?"

"Whatever pleases you, I guess," I said, shrugging. Before he could say something, we heard the bell ring from the inside.

"See you, Tae!" Jungkook said happily as he skipped off to class.

After he left, my heart began to flutter.

Maybe, just maybe.

I could finally have a friend.
