" To let go...
isn't to forget, not to think about or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger or jealousy, or regret. Letting go isn't winning and it isn't losing. It's not about pride and it's not about how you appear, and it's not about obsessing or dwelling on the past. Letting go isn't blocking the memories or thinking sad thoughts, and doesn't leave emptiness or hurt, or sadness. It's not about giving in or giving up. Letting go isn't about loss and it's not defeat. To let go is to cherish memories, and overcome, and move on. It's having an open mind and confidence in the future. Letting go is accepting. It's learning and experiencing and growing. To let go is to be thankful for the experiences that have made you laugh, made you cry, made you grow. It's about all that you have, all that you had, all that you will have soon again. Letting go is having the courage to accept change, and still have the strength to keep moving. Letting go is growing up. It's realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy. To let go is to open a door and to clear a path, and to...
Set you free."
Someone told me this recently and honestly things have been rough, busy, tiring. They always are. They always will be. That's just life. But letting that get you down... is what destroys you. Positivity is a powerful thing.
Forgiveness is a key roll in overall joyfulness and positivity. Your forgiveness of someone that has wronged you in some way weather it be a friend, family member or... just someone. If you don't forgive them that tears you down. And ultimately ruins you.
I'll be the first to say forgiveness isn't easy. You'll just have to take my word for it cause I'm not going to give my story. But I sincerely encourage this and everything this quote says. Take it to heart. One day. It might just save you.
I know this is more serious then I usually am. But it's powerful and for some reason I knew someone of you needed to see this or I just wanted to share it.
