I just have to say something...

I was just browsing through fanart as any fangirl or boy would do. Looking at Fan Art is a part of our regular day routine. And I scroll to a HTTYD 2 fanart of hiccup and Astrid. (hiccstrid is an OTP of mine-Legit... I love them to death)

And I was honestly impressed by this fanart! Probably one of the best ones I've seen

BUT...

I see the first comment and this is basically what it said just without the cussing.

"This is the worst fan art of them I've ever seen. You completely ruined it. The heads are weird, the hands are way to big and they don't even look like the actual characters. If your goal was to ruin them through art you've succeeded."

Wha-wha-what?!

HOLD THE PHONE FLOOFING NERFHERDER!

ID LIKE TO SEE YOU DRAW THAT?!

I do understand everyone is entitled to their opinions but Sweetheart that's taking it way to far! Especially when the art was actually really good. And any true artist would agree!

This just makes me angry.

A really good artist is getting criticized for no reason. Legit. And to my artist friends on wattpad if you saw it I'm sure you would be like:"Wow! That's amazing!" (I would show it but it got lost somewhere in my notifications on the app.)

And I kid you not if she is getting criticized and her art is amazing!

Then I have Absolutely no chance because my art sucks compared to hers and many others.

I swear this is harassment. And it's making me mad...

HOW DUMB ARE YOU THAT FAN-ART WAS FREAKING ON POINT!?!

There is a huge difference between harsh criticism and constructive criticism.

Criticize my art all you want. Please say it's trash because why? It probably is. But harass my fellow artist and friends ?and prepare for war.

I am having a low tolerance today for dealing with negative opinions of/on/about other people.

Quote of the day:

"be an encourager the world has enough critiques."

I think the quote is very fitting.

PS-to people who critique fan-art or any art especially if its beginner art... keep your criticism to yourself. They need encouragement not backlash. They may have had a lot of potential and you just destroyed any confidence they had left. Your words do hurt.

I am extremely against cruel criticism. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS NOT HARASSMENT. So don't pretend it is.
