A girl's best friend...

Sooo we were talking about gifts for girlfriends and what my brother could get his girlfriend and my father suggested something and my mother was like: well I suppose it's the thought that counts.

Dad: if it's the thought that counts why aren't thoughts a girl's best friend?

Low key... I hadn't been paying attention till I heard that question and idk where it came from but I said in the most quiet monotone voice...

"Because our thoughts destroy us..."

And the everyone got dead silent, just looking at me. I kid you not, I think they thought something was really wrong with me or I needed help.

I think I got seriously depressed for a moment-like where that came from idk...
