A/n I'm sorry for promoting my other books here, but there comes a time when I need to. Please go and check out my book 'Showtime'! Xoxoxo
The feeling of home was overwhelming with my anxiety.
You probably won't understand how good it feels to be back in the place you know, instead of someone totally different, if you don't have anxiety. For someone that struggles like me, it's hard to be in unusual situations and not know what's coming next.
We got home around four o'clock in the morning and Logan slept at our house to save unwanted communication with his mother in the early hours of a Monday morning. Mandy would not appreciate us hammering her door down at these hours just to say her troublesome teen is back from a trip. Especially when little Elsie is porley.
I say little but I can't really call her that now; she's growing up faster than I can keep up with.
Mid way through the week Logan received a phone call saying Elsie had been rushed to hospital in pain but Mandy said she wasn't going to keep us updated because she didn't want us to worry. She also said she knew Elsie would be fine and it was probably just a virus at the worst.
Logan agreed and said he can't spend the holiday dreading the worst for his little sister. He wanted to make the most of it with me.
The next few days were spent as lazy ones. Unpacking was the main project going on and no one liked it.
Speaking of projects, it's my book release party on Saturday and I have yet to explain to everyone what is going on. I don't want to do it now, I'm going to do it at the party when the guests arrive and can find out for themselves when they seen my name printed on a book.
The guests have had their invitations and have all been begging to know what it's for. As far as I know, Niomi, mum and Tan are all convinced it's a thankyou party for everyone.
The invitation literally just said,
Dear guests,
Brighton Hotel and bookings, Saturday 11th August, 7pm- late.
Love, Tia Deyes Xx
There was no other information, just that. People have also been asking mum and dad if they know what it is but they know just as much as them. Logan, Paige and Lexie have been bugging me about it all the time too. Jack and Josh are like two little kids; they're just 'buzzing' because there's a party. Also because they're all sleeping at mine on the night too.
So now I'm at home with mum and dad, and they're telling me about YouTube right now. Dads still daily vlogging and mums trying her best to vlog whenever she can. She has loads of footage from America to edit and upload still. She says she's going to do it tomorrow, and that's everyday.
My phone started to vibrate and ring, interrupted mums rant about 'irresponsible people ruining YouTube's reputation'.
"Mum I'm going upstairs to talk to Pay." I told her.
"Okay, I'll just moan to your dad." She smiled.
I fought back a smirk and quickly ran upstairs.
"Hiya dalring! How was your holiday?" Paige's cheery voice sounded through my speaker.
"It was so fun thanks! It was one of the best weeks of my life." I said, plopping into my sofa.
"Oh I'm so happy you had fun. Did Logan have fun?"
"Yeah, we've got so many more inside jokes now." I laughed at the memories.
The one memory that sprung to mind was when me and Logan were sat in a bar and a Mexican man came up to us offering 'sex on the beach'. That was probably the most interesting ten minutes of my life.
"Oh my god Paige! The other night we had this moment and he kept calling me little miss something and then when we were kissing he said little miss beautiful and I honestly nearly fell over from the butterflies." I gasped when I remembered the time and then rambled all the story.
"You've been together for over a year and you two never stop the cuteness."
"I'll never loose the butterflies Pay, I love him so much." I was being truthful. Me and Logan may have jokes that sound mean, but we also have the best moments. Just like Paige said, we've been together a year and I still have butterflies whenever we touch. I don't think they'll ever go away.
"How are you and Josh?" I asked.
"We're perfectly fine. Although I did get angry at him the other night. I was at his and all he was doing was playing fortnite." She sighed.
"Oh yeah, I saw on your snapchat story." I laughed.
"And he had the cheek to say I'm impatient!" She sighed once again but this time it was followed by a laugh.
"Paige I'm so glad to be home but the pile of homework and revision staring at me from my desk is really terrifying."
"Oh I know," She grunted, "Maybe me you and Lex can have a study and homework night soon."
"Yeah, I can't do it all alone."
"I'm going to have to go now T, love you!"
"Bye pay, love you!"
Just as I put down the phone down, it started to ring again, making me jump a mile.
"Logan you idiot." I breathed.
"What?" He genuinely sounded conceited as if he'd done something horribly wrong.
"You made me jump!"
"Oh sorry little miss, but I have important news to tell you that will make you jump." He chuckled deeply.
"Don't start the little miss game again." I rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see me.
"Tia Shut up and let me tell you the news."
"Okay I'm all ears."
"No you're all beauty."
"And you're all fake so shut the fuck up." I joked.
"Tia! I'm starting YouTube."
