"Mum! Dad!"

"Oh darling, I've missed you so much! You don't understand." Zoe nearly cried into my shoulder.

"It's not been the same without you T. God knows what we did before you came into our lives." Alfie squeezed me.

"I've missed you both so much, did you have a good time? Wait, more importantly, how's Els?" I questioned, dragging my parents to the sofa.

"She's doing great. Amazingly. I can't describe what it was like to go to Disney Land with her after everything, her eyes lit up." Zoe shook her head.

"Magical." Alfie added.

"I'm glad." I smiled.

Alfie too off his coat and sunk back into the sofa, "How was your trip to NYC?"

"I loved it. I'd really want to go with you two one day. Logan's shoot went amazing, and we had the best night. Did you see my Instagram?" I got giddy thinking back to the night.

"Oh my god yes! Show me." Mum grabbed my hand, desperate to see the bling ring.

I swear I saw hearts in her eyes, "He's the one Tia. I'm telling you."

"You keep him T, keep him safe." My dad grinned, "Now I'm going to the loo."

Dad disappeared around the corner, so I found a great time to ask mum about how things were going with her and dad, "Everything okay with you and dad?"

"Better than ever darling." Mum grinned. Her eyes sparkled, she was beaming with excitement.

That's the Zoe everyone knows.

Not the one that lost sleep and was so stressed because of Alfie not being here.

Her smile faded, "Don't worry about it. You should trust him Tia, it was all for a good cause."

My head turned her way and a sad smile made it's way into my face.

For some reason, I couldn't find myself fully trusting my dad. Not in a negative way as if he was seeing another woman, more in a way of he was definitely hiding something. Mum said it was for a good cause so I brushed it off as him doing a secret project like a TV show or something.

Mum patted my back, "I need to see my other baby."

She left the room so I shouted after her. "I've missed her so much."

"FaceTime just isn't enough. Didn't you go and see her the other day though?" Zoe shouted back from the kitchen.

"Yeah, I got the train."

It was silent, but soon enough Zoe came rushing in, looking dead excited. "You, got the train, by yourself, to Tan and Jim's?"

"Yes." I said slowly, grinning inside. I was really proud of myself for doing it. It's a massive step for my anxiety.

"I'm proud." Zoe squealed.

I laughed, "So am I. Are we going to Tan and Jim's as soon as possible to get Harls, then going to Logan's after?"

"I'm sure Mandy's sick of seeing me, but yes."

I chuckled as Zoe rushed back off, "I'm going to lay down for a bit. I'm exhausted."

Just as mum walked down the hallway, dad walked the opposite way, they high fives when they passed each other. I giggled at how they're still so cute and bubbly, even two kids later.

"Do you wanna tell me about your week T?" Dad gestured me over to the kitchen. "We can talk while I make a coffee."

I joined him in the kitchen. I sat on a bar stool while he messed around making coffee.

"So, tell me everything littler one."
