The first day back at school is always the most exciting for me. It's a time to feel an exciting atmosphere because there's so much everyone's missed, instead of a sweaty, hormonal teen atmosphere.

Obviously, it's not the first day back, but it is for me and Logan. I mean, come on, school days are not made if Tia Deyes isn't there.

Just kidding, but actually, I'm not.

There's truth to my words because the amount of times someone's told me those exact words, and how much I 'make their day' actually fiddles with my brain. I love making people happy, even if it is just kids at my school.

Apparently, all the new year sevens were really ecstatic to see me, and I didn't turn up. Paige told me all the new kids asked her and my friends for photos, but were bummed that they didn't get one with me and Lo. Lexie then told me one cute kid had said it wasn't the first day of school until I turned up.

This morning I actually used my brain and thought, if I'm going to be in photos, I better look at least half decent.

After putting on my outfit, that consisted of black ripped jeans, a red bandeau top and a denim jacket, my phone began to ring and Paige's ID popped up.

"Hello gorgeous, how are you?" She cheered.

"Paige it's like quarter to eight in the morning, why are you so awake?" I questioned, looking over my full appearance and deciding I looked great.

"Well, my mum dropped me off at Starbucks and then drove to work." She chirped.

"What? There's no Starbucks near school. How are you getting to school?" I questioned.

"Oh." I heard all energy drain from her voice, "I'll walk or something."

"It's you pay, I'm sure you'll find a way." I chuckled. "Keep safe though."

"Will do. Anyway, I phoned you to ask how you're getting to school. You know, we all need to learn to drive. Maybe then we won't have these problems. We're all seventeen so why haven't we started driving lessons?" Paige rambled on to herself.

"Jack has." I informed her.

"JACK?! Out of all of us, Jack's the most irresponsible childish one. Oh my god, I feel sorry for the instructor."

"Yep, he started like two months ago. But I think Zoe's going to drop me off at school today."

"Okay, I'll see you in a bit, I'm going to have to find a way to get to school." Paige sighed.

"Bye!"

I ended the phone call and grabbed my Micheal Kors backpack. I ran downstairs to where mum and dad were sitting vlogging with Nala on the kitchen stools.

"Morning guys!" I went behind them and got in shot.

"Morning Tia babes." Mum turned around and gave me a quick squeeze.

"It's Tia's first day back at school today, she didn't go yesterday because we had some family business but it's all fine now." Dad beamed to his camera.

"Yeah, first day of year eleven."

"This year's the most important." Mum drank her tea, giving me the eye.
