"What like?" I asked.

Alfie got down the coffee jar, "Like who's Taylyn?"

"Logan took me to a nice restaurant," I started my story but dad interrupted.

"Nice or?"

"Posh, amazing." I rolled my eyes. "That's my English teachers job, not yours."

"I might aswell do it, you haven't been to school in a long time."

"Rebellious child, aren't I?"

Alfie laughed and gestured for me to carry on.

"Anyway, we struggled to get seated because we looked young, and everyone else there were older and posher. Then this man came over and explained who we were and he helped us get in."

"Taylyn's Dad?"

"Yeah, he works a lot and she's always at home by herself. In this expensive apartment, might I add." I explained.

"The best thing you can do is be her friend then."

I smiled thinking back to the amazing day we had together yesterday. She was really reckless, and that's what I liked about her. My friends are just the typical friends, but there's something about Taylyn that brings out my fun side.

"I'm not even faking being her friend, she's literally that funny and my type of person." I laughed.

"Good."

"She was here yesterday, it was really fun."

"Was Logan here?" He turned on the coffee machine.

I spun around on my stool, "He went home or to Jack or Josh's. I don't know, he didn't tell me why he rushed off."

"What? That's fishy."

"And then when I saw Lexie, she had a black eye and everyone had fallen out."

Dad's face drained all colour, and he held an emotion I couldn't put my finger on.

"It'll be teenage drama." He brushed off, putting on a fake smile.

"Yeah yeah." I sighed.

Secrets, secrets.

"Do you ever think me and Logan are together too much?" I asked quietly.

"Too much? No, you two see each other how much you do because you want and arrange to."

"I don't know. There's too many secrets and it's annoying me to be honest." I admitted.

As much as I hated to say it, Logan wasn't being honest, and it was pissing me off. For the past couple of years of my life, everything has revolved around him. If it came out why he was being so distant at times, and he left, I wouldn't know how to live. I'm that attached.

"Tia, don't worry yourself. Don't over think. Now, what's this I've heard about modelling?" Alfie asked, finally finished making his drink.

"I'm thinking of it. I want to do it. I might do it." I shrugged.

"I suggest start with small brands, then if you enjoy it, move to bigger ones." Zoe suddenly joined the conversation.

"That was a short lay down." I said.

She huffed, "I was too busy listening to you two loud mouths."

"I'll sign on my eighteenth birthday." I said to dad.

"What about YouTube?"

"What about singing?"

"YouTube I might start any time and as for singing, it's not something I want to do full time."
