"Hi guys! Now this is something new for the both of us. I've never sat down and recorded my own video."

That's right, I, Tia Deyes, am recording my first YouTube video for my own channel.

Raise your glasses and take a couple of shots because it's going to be a good few hours for me to get my shit together and going to be able to get my lines right.

Somewhere in the past few hours, Taylyn persuaded me to film a video, even if it doesn't go out for a few months. So I dolled myself up to the nines, and borrowed mum's filming equipment.

"So judging by the title, the video, the channel, you will know that I've decided to start my own channel." I smiled to the camera. Tay was behind giving me an over enthusiastic thumbs up and cheesy grin.

"I've been in everyone else's videos for years, except for Jack's, shout out to Jack Maynard we still haven't done a collab, and it's been years. Anyway, I've never started my own channel because I've been scared of the backlash I'd get, and I've been busy doing other things. Buy my book." I winked.

"But today's the day my bestest friend in the whole wide world persuaded me to film a video." I gave Taylyn a toothy grin.

She smiled back just the same.

"So, I'm going to tell you a bit about myself. Most of you know me from what you've seen of me in someone else's videos, or from my Instagram or what you've heard about me. But that's not always me."

I got up and dragged Tay into the shot. I knew she wanted to see what it was like from the grin on her face. Plus, what better way is there to start something I'm going to love than have the person I love the most next to me?

Logan's quaking, I know.

"My name's Tia Deyes, I'm originally from Bristol but I've forgotten that life." I wanted my hand. "I moved here when I was fifteen, to live with the best parents I could ask for. It's coming up to my eighteenth birthday now."

"That's mad." Tay said quietly. "I remember the day Alfie uploaded his video and literally everyone went crazy that they'd adopted a child."

I smiled thinking back to those good times. "Me too. Tracy and Joe were there."

"If anyone of you were wondering, this is my best friend Taylyn. She's not from YouTube or anything so this is as new to her as it is to me." I explained.

"If anything I probably know more than Tia does." She said knowingly.

I laughed, "True."

There was a knock on the door and it opened, revealing Logan. "Well aren't you two dolled up today."

He didn't even notice that we were filming a video until I pointed it out. "You do realise I'm filming my first video."

His eyes widened in realisation. Then, he ran over and plonked himself down on the bed next to me. "Hi guys, I'm Tia's boyfriend but I'm better known as Logan Whilston. Subscribe to my YouTube channel."

I looked at him with a look of disgust. "It's fine. Just crash my video and promote yourself."

"Hey Taylyn." He ignored me and smiled around me to Tay.

"Hi Logan." She chuckled.

"Don't say hi to him!" I jokingly yelled at her.

"That's mean." Logan pouted.

I gave him an 'are you being serious?' look. In return he boyishly grinned at me, dimples and everything. I slapped his cheek lightly, "I'm sorry."
