Easter time has never really appealed to me, but for some reason this year I'm finding it amazing. I'm loving the idea of Easter egg hunts, and the cute spring colours everywhere.

So when I found out that Ian would be spending Easter in the Uk, I went crazy. I planned a million different things for us to do, mainly revolving around Easter.

For this week I've planned a nice little lunch on the beach, taking him to one of Brighton's Easter egg hunts with Zalfie, and even just having a night in my apartment eating chocolate.

I've spent all week getting my apartment to nice and clean standards because I know that he's a clean freak.

Now it's ten AM, and I'm waiting for him to arrive. He's got an Uber from the airport to my apartment block, even though I offered to get someone to pick him up.

I'm kind of nervous for this week, like what it it's awkward because it's just us two, or what if he expects a lot more from me?

I suddenly had no time to even start to dwell in my thoughts, as there was a knock on my front door.

"Hi!" I squealed as I opened the door and saw Ian waiting with a bunch of roses and an Easter egg. "Oh my god."

"Happy Easter Gorge." He gave me a side hug with his spare hand.

"Are these for me?"

"No, they're for your next door neighbour." He rolled his eyes, giving me the roses.

Cocked my head to the side and smiled, "jokes on you arsehole, I don't have a next door neighbour."

I stood to the side, to let him into my apartment. He grabbed his suitcase from behind him and walked inside. "I love the way you British say arse instead of ass."

"I love the way you've come in here and started to bully me." I put down my roses onto my kitchen island. "These are lovely, thank you so much."

Ian put down the Malteser Easter egg too, "I also got your favourite chocolate. You mentioned in New York that you loved it."

"Such a romantic." I smiled to him.

He turned my way and wrapped his arms around my waist, bringing me closer. "I've missed you and your little comments."

I placed my arms around his neck. "I've missed you and your bad boy vibe."

He was wearing all black, and chains, which added to his whole vibe of 'bad boy'.

"We don't really match though do we?" He said, gesturing to my outfit of a pink top and dungarees.

"I'll get changed before we go out, so we can match." I grinned, moving away from him.

"What're the plans?" He took off his backpack and put it down, "I love your apartment by the way."

"Thank you, and we should go explore Brighton, I'll show you around."

"Sounds great."
