New Year's Eve...

"Tia babe, can you fetch the bowls of crisps into the dining room?" Mum shouted from the other room, whilst I was in the kitchen.

I grabbed both bowls and carried them to the dining room, where mum was laying out a full buffet of food on the table.

"Wow, you've really gone to town on this year's party, mum." I eyed up the chocolate cake at the end.

"You're allowed it later, not now." Zoe pointed a finger at me, knowing fully well that I wanted some cake.

"But why can't I just have a little now?" I moaned.

"Tia Deyes, you're more needy now than when you were fifteen. Shut up and go and see if Taylyn's ready." Mum walked away.

"Is that what you thought of me when you first met me, mum? That I'm needy?" I joked, following her up the stairs.

"Yes. That's why I chose you, because you were the neediest and most annoying child there."

I laughed and left Zoe to finish getting ready for the massive New Year's Eve party we were hosting. I joined Taylyn in my old room, to get ready too.

Taylyn was already finished, and looked stunning in a red velvet dress that cling to her figure like I cling to a box of maltesers.

"You need to get ready, everyone's coming soon." Taylyn said.

"I know, I was just teasing mum about adopting me."

"Who's actually coming to the party?" Tay asked, sitting down on the bed.

"I think everyone to do with us, according to Alf it's going to be massive." I quickly got changed into my white wrap dress.

"You look gorgeous. Logan will definitely want to get back with you when he sees you like that." Taylyn complimented.

"Thank you!" I smiled. "I'm actually excited to see him. I haven't seen him since my birthday."

"Have you not? I thought you two were fine after that night?"

"Nope, tonight's the night I'm going to talk to him properly. I'm sick of all of this wanting him back shit." I put on the rest of my jewellery and looked in the mirror. Taylyn wasn't lying when she said I looked good.

"Check you, little miss confident."

"I'm feeling it tonight." I smiled, turning around to face my best friend, who was laid on my bed, kicking her legs about.

"Good. Go get em tiger." She winked, making me laugh.

When the house filled up, it filled up.

Like there were literally people everywhere, apart from upstairs of course. Every one that I knew from the YouTube gang was there, all of my friends, and all of their families.

I met Callum's adoptive parents, and thankfully they were so nice and polite towards me. They also got on really well with Zoe and Alfie, which is good for the future.

Now I'm stood speaking to Jack Maynard, who I haven't seen in months. Things kind of got a bit awkward between us when people suspected that we were together. He's also been really busy moving away from Lauren and with the divorce this year.

"Now I'm living back here in Brighton, near my family." He told me.

"That's better for you then, it's less in the spotlight." I took a sip of my drink.
