It was silent for a few moments while Logan processed what I had said.
What I said wasn't a lie.
"And did you?" Logan finally said, stronger than I had expected.
"W- Logan..."
"I'll take that as my answer." Logan rolled his eyes, looked away and huffed heavily.
"Logan what? Stop being like that-" I began, drawing my eyebrows together, but Logan interrupted me.
"Being like what?"
I frowned. "Stop being a prick."
Simple.
"What do you mean? T-"
It was my turn to interrupt. "No Logan. Shut up and let me talk. You asked me a question so let me answer."
Logan's p.o.v
It was silent for a few minutes while I processed what she said. She just stared at me.
It wasn't a lie.
"And did you?" It came out before I could stop myself, and I didn't think it would come out like that.
It all slightly angered me. Not Tia of course, but me. I felt like I'd let her down and I hadn't done my best at keeping her safe. It annoyed me that she felt she couldn't come and talk to me and instead had to do something that would leave permanent scars.
"W- Logan..."
I couldn't help it, I snapped. "I'll take that as my answer."
I rolled my eyes and looked away with a huff.
How could I be so stupid?
"Logan what? Stop being like that-"
"Being like what?"
"Stop being a prick." She snapped.
"What do you mean T-"
"No Logan. Shut up and let me talk. You asked me a question so let me answer it."
I put my head in my hands and rubbed my hair. I'd never had Tia be so honest and up front with me. I don't think she's ever been or is an upfront person. She doesn't like telling someone what to do, but she knew she had to just to shut me up.
I sighed, took a deep breath and then looked up. "Go on."
"I spoke to Mum first before she uploaded it. She wanted to make sure I wanted that footage on the internet. You know, she did it once and ended up deleting it because of all the press and comments. She says it was the best thing she did though, it helped her and made a lot of people realise she's a real person with a life." Tia couldn't quite look me in the eyes, probably because she didn't want me to realise she was crying.
"Yeah, I remember." I said softly.
"I hate arguing with you Logan, I really do. I just get annoyed when no one has trust in me. It's like when me and mum had that conversation, she literally cried to me begging me to tell her if I'd done anything." She shook her head in disbelief.
"That's because she's a mother that cares so much about you Tia. She always has done. She knows what you've been through and understands it more than you do."
I shouldn't have said that.
Tia gave me a strange look but decided not to question my words, "Then Dad came to me and asked me if everything was okay. He said that I needed to start speaking to him or someone I trust whenever I feel like that."
