February.

Two months into the year and people have normally settled down. There's no more contemplating if the resolutions should be done or not, and there's no more excuses to be rowdy. The kids are back in school working hard, especially year elevens that are near to leaving school.

That's exactly what I've done, but just with a little twist.

I'm living perfectly fine in my apartment by myself. I've got my best friend by my side too. Taylyn spends a lot of time at my place, mainly because it's safer for her here than being in London when she has no idea what could happen.

Speaking of Taylyn, we sat and cried to each other for two hours after that day and we established that both of our stories and pasts were pretty much the same. We came to the decision that boys are shitty, and sometimes in life you meet to most heartless people. But as long as you keep your head held high and stay out of their way, you'll find yourself where you want to be: surrounded in happiness.

Also speaking of that day, I spoke to Callum the next morning. He admitted it all to me and told me to same timeline of events that Logan did so at least no one was lying. I told him what I thought of it all, and he understood. We buried the hatchet, and now we're fine. He swore to me that there were no more secrets, so hopefully it'll stay like that.

When it comes to school, I've given up. Zoe told me to consider dropping out because I don't turn up anymore, and I'm more focused on other projects. So that's what I did. I dropped out of education altogether. Now I'm left relying on the platforms I've already got.

It feels great to be honest, I'm doing what I love and making a career out of it. I've also got more spare time to do other things I love like song writing.

Today's also the day that I get to see Taylyn after a whole week. It's been way too long for my liking.

So, after she arrived at my apartment, we went into town and bought a couple of things. It included shit that we didn't need, and more photo booth pictures to place somewhere around my apartment.

Then we went into Nando's for lunch (where else would we go?) and met a couple of friendly viewers. I always love meeting them, but they always ask about Logan. I always tell them that we've split up but there's no bad blood.

After that we came back home to where we are now, sat in my living room looking out over Brighton sea in the dark.

"You've got such a beautiful place to live." Tay smiled.

"I'm so lucky, aren't I?"

"That you are. I'm going to grab my phone, do you want yours getting while I'm over there?" Taylyn asked.

"Yeah, it's on my bed."

Taylyn plodded off, humming a song we'd listened to on the radio earlier.

The sound of the waves from my balcony, was actual heaven for me. Ever since Zoe first took me to Brighton beach and told me to close my eyes and just listen, it's been my go to thing for calming myself down.

It's nice to just sit outside at night and just listen to the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore.

Sometimes it's nice to switch off from social media, no electronics, and just take a step back for a few minutes. It helps to forget all of the worries you have and hate you get.

"TIA."

Taylyn's an actual contrast to the mood.

"What do you want bit-"

I stopped when I saw what was in front of me. Taylyn's phone screen was showing a thousand notifications all saying near enough the same thing.
