Imagine; You and Ben have been dating for 2 years and one of Ben's friends keeps flirting with you every time you're occasionally in high school.
You all were hanging out in Dan's garage when you said "I'm hanging with you all tomorrow, not around that dickhead" Ben sighed and leant his head back against the wall "is he still at it ?" You nodded in response, " he's always saying that he could be a better boyfriend, has more to offer. Blah, blah, blah" saying that made you laugh. Ben who was opposite you had a small smile on his face but still looked unimpressed "it doesn't surprise me. Always thought he was a bit of an idiot actually anyway." At this point Chris and Daniel were laughing "someone has competition" they joked at Ben for a little bit, we all then changed the conversation to avoid conflict at high school.
