Caleb's POV
I open my eyes and realise I'm still laying in Hanna's mom office with Hanna on top of me. Oh shit. I know how this looks but I love Hanna, I want her back but she's with Jordan and I have to get used to that.
The door handle clicks, someone is coming. I don't have time to move, I just have to deal with the consequences.
It's Ashley Marin, Hanna's mom.
"Oh Caleb what is this?"
"I promise it's not what it looks like, she was upset about her fight with Jordan, I said I would hug her but I wouldn't. But she wanted to and I want her to be happy so I did" I ramble.
"It's okay really, truthfully I wish she was engaged to you not Jordan." She mumbled but I heard what she said.
"Me too Mrs Marin me too. I was stupid to let her go. I'm guessing she told you what I let slip the other day in court."
"She did" Ashley walked over to the wall and slid down.
"I just hope what you said will help put Charlotte away for good."
"Well we find out this afternoon. I want to say thank you again for the job"
"Your very welcome Caleb. You can have a room to stay in if you need it."
"I might acctually have to take you up on that. I haven't exactly got any where else to go"
"Caleb can I ask you a question?"
"Sure anything"
"When was the first time you realised you were in love with Hanna."
"Um I really prefer not to answer that."
"Come on please, I want to know how long?" She sighed getting emotional.
"When I was staying with you secretly, I was in the shower, she was looking for something you came in and she jumped in the shower and pretend she was the one taking the shower."
I laughed and Mrs Marin laughed too.
"I think I remember that. I had no idea you were in there."
"We never kissed, she acctually got quiet distant after that but I confronted her and then she kissed me."
"Well that was revealing but I'm glad that she met you, your the only one who could ever get through to her that she wasn't 'hefty Hanna'."
"Mrs Marin even if she was 300 pounds I would still love her for who she is."
Mrs Marin smiled poudly.
"Your perfect for her Caleb please tell you will fight for her."
She looked at me hopeful, of course I want her back and Mrs Marin knows what is best for her daughter.
"I promise, I'll try."
Hanna started to stir.
"Caleb, what time is it?" She said sitting and rubbing her eyes like she always did when she woke up. She looked over and to her mother, who was still hugging her legs whilst leaning her back against the wall.
"Mom?"
"Hi honey"
"It's not what it looks like"
"I know honey Caleb told me what happened."
"Oh mom I'm so sorry, he just got so angry, I spat back at him but he really scared me."
"Um Han" I interrupted.
"What?"
"Caleb never told me what the argument was like. He shouted at you?"
"Mom please don't be mad."
"No Hanna this is not okay!!!"
"Mom please" Hanna cried and begged at the same time.
"Hanna I want you to stay with me tonight to at least let him calm down."
"Fine if that will stop making you shout at me."
Hanna's POV
Hanna: I'm staying with my mom tonight, I'll be home in the morning
Jordan: why? So you ditch me today and tonight?
Hanna: Jordan please you really scared me this morning.
Jordan: Han I'm sorry. It's just we're getting married I want you to spend time with me.
Hanna: I'm finding out if the girl who tortured me is getting let out of hospital, the last thing I need to is to be arguing with you.
Jordan: I'm sorry really I am. When do you find out?
Hanna: any minute now.
Jordan: Please let me know if she gets let out I want to be there for you.
Hanna: sure but I'm still staying at my moms house.
Jordan: okay I'll see you in the morning.
Hanna: whatever.
I put my phone down and flop backwards on to my old bed in my bedroom at my moms house. Any minute now I'm going to find out it Charlotte is going to be released.
I don't want her to, Caleb is right she hurt me and I want her to stay locked away forever where she belongs.
*beep beep*
This is it. I take in a deep breath and unlock my phone to look at the new message in my inbox.
Alison: Hey I have good news Charlotte's getting let out. Thanks for all the help . Love you loads. Xxx
Oh God. All I can think about is what I'm going to do. I want him. I don't want Jordan, I want Caleb.
