The Dinner

Spencer's POV

"Caleb breathe it won't be that bad."
"I've just told Hanna not to marry Jordan and now I have to have dinner with them"

Me and Caleb, along with Adam are stood outside Alison's house, but he won't stop panicking.

"Caleb there car is outside, their already here."

"Easy for you to say, Toby's your best friend!!"

"Okay Caleb Calm down"

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have gone there."

"No your right Toby is my best friend but I want more than that just like you want more with Hanna."

"Yeah your right I can do this."

"Just remember your the one that wanted to come and please be on your best behaviour."

"Okay Spence I love you, your like my wing woman but I'm not Adam."

"Your right, but I know he will behave himself." I say grabbing Adams little hand.

Hanna's POV

Well that was okay I guess.

Adam walks over to me, so I bend down so we're face to face.

"Hey buddy."
"Awntie Hanna."
"I hear you went to play police man with Daddy today was that fun?"
"Yeah I got to be a powlice man and sit in dadda's big boy chair."
"Sounds like you had a great time, but look what I brought you."

I opened up my bag and pulled out a Dino teddy that was blue and had a yellow tummy, Adam had eyed it up once when we went shopping. Spencer had told me everything that happened with Yvonne and I know he has another green one that helps him calm down.

"DINOSAUR!!" He grabs it hold it close to him.

"Oh Hanna you didn't have to do that."
"No Spence it's okay I wanted him to have it, maybe it will help with his anxiety."

Spencer gets tearful and smiles, I stand up and hug her.

"Hey don't cry."
"I can't help it."

We pull away when the boys come back in from the car.

Caleb looked nervous, whereas Jordan was looking proud and confident. Oh crap.

Caleb's POV

Jordan asked me to help with bringing the food in and said yes not wanting to be ride but the truth is I was starting to regret coming.
Jordan opened the boot and pulled out a bunch of plates, handing me a few plates at a time.

"So Caleb I've heard alot about you, so cool to finally meet the Caleb Rivers."
"Hanna told you about us?"
"Yeah you were a bit part of her life, her high school sweetheart but let's face it I'm the 'one'."

Oh please, we all know me and Hanna were cuter than this dushbag.

"Well no one will be able to have the connection me and Hanna have, after all I did save her from a dollhouse."

"Come on Caleb let's not get off to a bad start, we all want me and Hanna to get a happy ending." 

Jordan grabs the last of the food, closes the boot and walks back. What a jerk, he can't even get used to the fact me and Hanna were serious for a long time.

When I walked back in I put the trays down and Spencer came over to talk to me.

"Hey everything okay?"
"Hanna can not marry him Spence, I can't let her slip away. It was my fault we broke up I gave up on us, what sort of boyfriend does that?"
"Someone who makes mistakes but has learned from them and wants to make things right"

Hanna's POV

"Oh crap I left my phone in the car."
"I'll get it" Jordan grabbed the keys and went outside.

Emily came over to me, noticing that I was staring at Caleb.

"Everything okay?"
"Yeah why wouldn't it be."
"I get Caleb is an ex but your really uneasy are you sure marrying Jordan is the right way to go."
"I wish people would stop saying that."
I walked away and went into the bathroom to fix up my make up.
"Hanna!"

Emily's POV

"Hanna!"
Who else said she shouldn't marry Jordan? I not one to gossip but I really want to know.

"Hey Ali, did you tell Hanna not to marry Jordan?" I say walking into the kitchen area, where Alison was prepping food.

"No but Spence said Caleb did earlier today."
"Maybe that's why she's been so on edge"
"We all want Caleb to end up with Hanna but it's not going to be that easy."
"When did things get so complicated"
I reach for a carrot but Ali slaps my hand away.

"Ouch"
"No touching the food until it's done."
"Fine."

Spencer's POV

Alison called for dinner, we all gathered round but I couldn't see Adam.

"Guys where's Adam?"

"He was playing with his new Dino." Emily explained, pointing to the floor where the Dino was but Adam wasn't.

"ADAM?!?!"

We all got up calling for him, Hanna ran back into the living room panicked.

"The front door was open"
"Sorry I must have left it open when I went to get Hanna's phone" Jordan said with no panic or worry.

I raced outside.

"ADAM"

Caleb and the other joined me outside

"He's gone"

Was all I could say before falling to the ground in tears, Hanna's stupid fiancé left the door open and now my 2 year old son was wondering around lost in a town he doesn't know.
