Caleb's POV

I unloaded my stuff from the airport and hopped in a cab.

The male driver had a shaved head and had a crooked smile, he kept looking at me so I checked that I looked okay, but everything was fine.

"Caleb?"
"Mm I'm sorry do I know you?"
"I'm not sure but I know you." I took a second look at this guy and I knew who he was.

Travis Hobbs, Hanna my ex used to date him. He seemed like a nice enough guy but I really just wanted to get to my hotel and get this over with.

"Where to?"
"The Radley in Rosewood please"

Travis pulled out of the lane and took to the main roads.

Play song now

I'm currently on my way back Rosewood as I have been summoned by the court to come and speak about Charlotte's getting let out. I wanted to make sure she stayed locked away forever. Me and Hanna may not be together anymore but that doesn't mean I don't want her save, the truth is im still crazy in love with her. There's just one problem she's engaged to a Australian guy named Jordan. He makes her Happy but I know I was happier with her.

I checked into the hotel and unpacked for the few days I was planning to stay. I couldn't tell if I wanted to bump into Hanna.

I headed down the the Brew for old times sake.

I went up to the counter and Sabrina poured my usual. It's been 5 years but you don't forget anyone who used to live in Rosewood, that and the fact everyone knew who we were because of A.

I can feel eyes on me and I look over to see the girls sat in the same place, drinking the same drinks as if they never left.

They all wave apart from Hanna who is trying to hide. I feel a ping of pain in my heart. She looks prettier than she used to, if that's even possible.

I want to walk over and tell her I'm still in love with her and I want her back but I don't have the guts. I just play it cool and walk about the brew.

Smooth Caleb. Yeah no.

Hanna's POV

"Well that was awkward."
"Han he looked happy to see you."
"He just pretended Spence would you be that happy to see your ex?"
"Um Hello?" Spencer waves her hand around the air waiting for me to figure out what she means.
"Oh yeah sorry Spence."
"It's okay I know you guys had a messy break up."
I sniffed and started to collect my stuff.
Emily stopped me.

"Han where are you going?"
"I'm going to the Radley they don't serve alcohol here, are you coming or not."
"Yeah sure."
They follow me.

We all spent the night at the hotel apart from Spencer because she had to get back to Adam and we got ready together the next morning, for Charlotte's trial.
Alison wanted her out because she's her sister and we support her although we all secretly want Charlotte to rot in hell after what she put us through.

The judge banged on the table for order.

Spencer was up first.

"Charlotte Dilaurentis posts no threat to me".

Emily and Aria spoke up about how they had moved on and the people they were closest to had helped them move on.

Of course Alison did her best to get her released.

My turn.

"I have a job now in New York and everyday I get ready I go outside and it's either sunny or its raining. Charlotte put us all through alot even her own family but she should get the chance to be rained upon when she leaves the house each morning."

The doors flung open and Ezra walked in followed by Toby and...

Caleb.

"Sorry we're late, your honour." Ezra croaked.

We sat and watched each person who was affected by Charlotte talk about what she had done and if they wanted her released. Lastly it was Caleb's turn.

"When I found out A was back I did everything I could to protect Hanna, her friends but mostly Hanna because I love her"

Did he just say that in present tense?

Caleb's POV

I winced. Crap. Please tell me she didn't hear that.

"I even got shot, I remember waking up in the hospital and thinking what could be worse than almost loosing your life but their was something worse. When Hanna ended up in that dollhouse I thought this is it. This is the worst thing that has ever happened I would rather be shot an infinite amount times if it meant she would be safe. That's why I don't want Charlotte released ever. She hurt so many people she doesn't deserve to feel what is like the be rained upon. She should feel what those girls did when she locked them away from everyone they cared about."
