"One more yank and this generator should be up," Dwight informed. "Fucking finally. This better be the last one!" David snarled, as he pulled roughly to get the gear in place. Nea was unusually quick, trying to get the wires to spark. "I'm sure okay? Nea and I don't a least three and I know you did one." Dwight responded. "Don't you fucking dare say that like I didn't contribute enough. As you know I was practically baiting the killer!" He hissed. "Stop the bitching and focus. If one of you mess up I'll cut your balls off!" Nea snapped.
They went quiet and finally, the generator roared to life and the gates flickered on. "Hurry!" Dwight yelled but David caught him by his collar and flung him back. Dwight opened his mouth to give him a piece of his mind when Nea put a finger over her mouth and pointed at the way he was going.
The killer was there, guarding with an eye for any movement. The way he looked back and forth was like a camera, he was so focused that even the grass swaying made him jump. His cleaver in hand and a trap in the other. "Fucking Evan." Nea hissed. "Come on, the other door is this way," Dwight told them.
"Why the fuck do you think we're always going to follow you? We did that and looked at what happened to Jake! He was dead before we could even get there!" David growled. "I didn't want to risk our lives! I wanted to because we would've died. Evan was watching him die!" Dwight protested. "Guys-" Nea tried butting in but was brushed off. "No, you only want us to survive so you can! You can't lone wolf it as I can! You're pathetic! You want to be a leader but give it up, you suck at it." David barked, grabbing Dwight by his shoulders
"Shut up!" Nea growled, smacking David and stepping in front of Dwight. "Everyone dies no matter who is in charge. Us three are still alive, right? Better than none and it's because he's trying. Now shut up and let's get out of here. I don't want to hear anymore bitching, you hear me?" She scolded David. He grumbled and cursed under his breath but agreed.
They crawled to the exit, Nea close to Dwight. "Thanks for having my back." He said, his cheeks going red into a blush. Nea smiles and punched his shoulder gently. "Don't mention it."
David went to open the door but didn't see the trap below him. "David!" Nea yelled but it was too late. The teeth of the traps clamped around his ankle causing him to scream. Nea quickly releases David out of the trap causing him to fall. "Come on get the fuck up!" Nea barked, grabbing this arm and pulling him behind a rock.
Dwight wrapped bandages that he picked up from a chest around his ankle. He didn't say anything and looked embarrassed. "Look where the fuck you're going. Now it will be nearly fucking impossible to escape!" Nea growled. "If you guys went so loud I wouldn't find you." The raspy voice made everyone tense up in fear.
Evan smirked under his mask as he raised his cleaver up to hit Dwight but Nea shoved him out the way and took his place, causing her to limp with her arm over her chest as she ran away. David ducked behind a wall close to the exit while Dwight was opening the gate.
Evan was going straight for Nea, who was groaning in pain. She hid behind a stack of boxes and covered her mouth, tears falling as her heart pounded. She knew he was right there and she was about to die until she heard the sound of the door opening. It distracted him and gave her enough time to run.
David stumbled out of the gate, not giving the chance for Evan to put him on the hook but Dwight hesitated. He was hiding behind a tree, looking for her. He wasn't going to leave without knowing she would be out. He knew they don't actually die but the pain is so real and he didn't want her going through that.
He ran away but didn't see anything or anyone. Finally, he heard a whimper from behind a pile of boxes. "Nea?" Dwight asked, running over to her and kneeling. "Dwight? You didn't leave?" She looked at him. "No. Not without you, let's go." He grabbed her hand and started to go back to the gates but Nea fell and couldn't get up.
"Come on, we're almost there!" Dwight whispered, trying to help her up. "No stop. He's too close and I can't get up. Get out of here!" Nea told him. "Nea please.." Dwight whimpered, pulling her body close to him. "Dwight, don't sacrifice yourself okay? I'll be with you next time." Nea promise. Dwight nodded, seeing Evan getting closer to them. He looked down at Nea, in his arm and kissed her. "I'll see you next time." He whispered, getting up and running out of the gate.
He stopped and turned around, seeing Evan pick her up and threw her over his shoulder. She didn't try to escape and just accepted the sacrifice. Dwight winced when he heard her scream out when she was hung on the hook. He forced himself to turns back to the exit and walked out, the boundary blocking the killer to follow.
He ran until he saw the campfire with David and Jake sitting around it, talking. "Have you guys seen Nea yet? Has she been released yet?" Dwight asked, breathless. "She's hasn't yet," David explained. Dwight began to tear up. Did the Entity actually kill her? She should've been here by know. "Why are you crying you, big idiot?" Dwight spun around to see Nea smiling at him. He hugged her tightly, causing her to laugh. "Hey cut it out. I'm not dead, idiot." She told him. "I know but I don't want to lose you. I love you Nea." He muttered, causing him to grow red. Nea looked at him and laughed. "I love you too, idiot."----I hope you like this! I will gladly take any ideas or requests you may have.
