Dwight was hiding in a locker as his heartbeat pounded uncontrollably. He bit his lip to quiet his breath as the silhouette ran past the locker he was in. It was the Hillbilly or short Billy because he didn't know his actual name.

Suddenly, he heard the killer walk away and he got out of the locker to do a generator nearby. He didn't even notice the girl with blonde pigtails running by until she was helping him to a generator. "Shit!" Dwight jumped, growing red with embarrassment. She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Just shut up and work on this with me so we can get the fuck out of here." She snapped.

Dwight admired her and stayed a little bit closer. "Why are you following me?" Meg growled, stepping closer to where they were mere inches from ones face. Dwight's face was burning red and Meg's had a scowl. "Go the fuck away, got it?" She hissed.

Dwight didn't know what got to him but he snapped. "God! You're like David fucking King! To think I even liked you!" Dwight snapped, causing her to flinch, surprised. "Dwight, I-" Dwight didn't want to hear it, he stormed away from her and off to a generator from a good distance.

Dwight couldn't be angry anymore for the fact that it wasn't in his nature. He didn't know what brought that out of him but he wondered one thing. Why won't this pain in my heart go away?

"Dwight!" A yell was called, as the stumbled over to them. "Meg?" He looked at her, grabbing her. She looked exhausted and scared. "Hide!" She hissed, ducking down beside a pile of tires and Dwight hid behind a tree, feeling exposed without his locker.

He thought the killer was going away until he heard a scream that made his heart drop in the lower pits in his stomach. He was frozen and could move from the fear as he bites hard on his fingernails, causing them to bleed. Meg's body falling onto the ground snapped him out of his trance and he ran out to block the killer to give Meg time to escape.

The Hillbilly let out a frustrated growled, his mallet going down hard on him. Dwight let out a cry but didn't get down. Another swing when close to him but he barely avoids the swing by a centimeter. The Hillbilly was getting angry and impatient. He was ready to attack Dwight when Meg struggled out of his grip, causing Hillybilly to stumble back.

"Let's go!" Dwight yelled, grabbing her wrist and running before ducking behind a tree in a corner to heal her wound. "Thank you," Meg muttered, a faint blush grew on her face. "Don't mention it." Dwight smiled at her. Meg returned the favor and helped Dwight. "I'm sure the doors are open." Meg pointed out.

"Then let's get out of here," Dwight smiled, grabbing her hand gently, letting his thumb slowly caress her fingers. "Together." He was with the cheesy and dumbest smile, but it causes Meg to smile. "Together." She copied them as they ran.

They neared the exit gate when they saw the Hillbilly chasing out after them. Meg suddenly had a sprint burst, letting her get to the gate faster but Dwight, on the other hand, was blocked from the exit. He let out a shriek of pain as the mallet landed on his back.

Meg turned back to see Dwight being attacked but couldn't go back. She pounded on the entrance to the place but a barrier blocked her. "No!" She cried, her legs gave away as Dwight was torn away from her sight. She didn't notice she was crying until she felt the warm tears fall down her cheek and fell onto the grass below her.

She forced herself up and slowly walked back to the same camp that she tried so hard to leave behind. She looked up and her breath caught when she saw Dwight looking at her. "D-Dwight?!" She screamed, running at him. She went to throw her arms around him but the vision of him disappeared.

She looked at her hands and the place where he standing with wide sorrowful eyes. "No." She muttered as she collapsed, crying. "Meg?" She heard Jake's voice, making her look up. "Did Dwight..?" He trailed off, causing Meg to burst out crying, hugging herself.

Since he died she wouldn't see him until the next time the Entity would let them. He was gone, just like the vision. He slipped through her fingers because she couldn't save him. She wiped her eyes and looked up at the sky.

I'll get him back, one way or another Entity.
