Happy New Years!

"I thought this was the end of this story?" Nea asked with a huff. "Maybe you didn't read the introduction! I think many people would appreciate a surprise chapter." Luna said with a smirk, her arms cross over her chest.

"GUYS! GUYS! UGLY SWEATERS!!" A loud voice boomed with Feng running out with an arm full of sweaters with her own that had, 'Game Over' in large print. "Seriously? That's lame." Laurie muttered, looking away at everyone who were getting clothing. "I got you one too!!" Feng smirked, handing her a blue sweater with what looked to be butterflies with white wings and a red body. "You didn't!!" Laurie exclaimed, hugging it close.

"Adam!! I see you dancing!! Cut that out, you're not in a battle royal game!" Autumn yelled, tackling him to the ground and shoving snow in his face. "Hey! Quit it! It wasn't anything special. It's just my default one I go to!" Adam yelped. "Wrong choices of words." Autumn growled, putting snow down his shirt which caused him to yelp and squirm from her grasp.

Hope sat down on the bench, drawing in the snow with a stick. "Hey, what's wrong?" Luna asked, sitting besides her. "I miss The Entity. Yeah, he was a dick but," she tugged on the hoodie string; the hoodie he had gave her, "he cared when he wanted to." Hope muttered. "Yeah, you two were really close. Though, I don't think he'd want you to miss out on this." Luna said with a smile, putting her hand over Hope's cold one.

Hope looked up to Luna with a huge smile. "You're right, lets enjoy this." She jumped up to her feet, clapping her hands together. "I'm glad you said that because I may have invited a few special people." Luna said with a giggle, which made Hope tilt her head then gasped at who emerged into their camp, hand in hand.

"Hey Hope!!" Herman yelled, running and hug her. "Herman!" Hope exclaimed, her smile bright as she returned the hug. "So, this is your party?" Evan asked, walking behind Herman. Hope nodded while Smug appeared out of nowhere with two large bottles of champagne. "Look who's got the bubbly!" Smug said with a smirk. "It's instantly better than ours." Evan said with a smirk, taking Herman by the hand and hurrying over to the campfire. Hope silently fangirled when she noticed that Evan's had wrapped his arm around Herman's waist.

Autumn had walked over to Frank and they were talking and joking at the fire. Smug was pouring drinks into small cups and handing it out to survivors and even the handful of killers who came. Luna's face lit up when she saw Susie, running and hugging the masked girl. They giggled and walked together, hand in hand to the campfire.

"Hey," A low voice caught Hope's attention. She looked up to see Philip with his hand extended. "I-I don't know how to dance." Hope told him, her cheeks burned as he stepped closer. "Just follow my lead," He chuckled, taking her hands in his gently. He lead her in a circle, his right hand on her waist and his left hand holding hers. He then gently twirled her and ended up with her back pressed against his chest. He then picked her up and twirled her around before setting her down and finishing it with a dipping her down. He gave her a small peak on her forehead before lifting her back up.

"W-Wow, that was," Hope blushed, letting out a small giggle as Philip smiled brightly at her, "Amazing?" Philip asked, causing Hope laughed and nodded. "Definitely." Philip smiled, hugging her close. "Happy New Years dear." Philip whispered in her ear, making her look up, "Happy New Years."

"Come on everyone! Get a cup!" Smug yelled, Kate sitting back and looked at him with loving eyes when he handed her a cup. It wasn't a surprise when Smug let her brush his hand when she took the cup. His cheeks burned at the contact but quickly shook it off.

"Let's have a toast!" Smug yelled, eyes shimmering with joy. "To having a better year!" Kate, Nea, and Meg yelled. "To surviving!" Dwight, David, and Jake added. "To loving relationships!" Luna, Autumn, Hope, and Smug put their arms around each other. "To friends there and back!" Quentin, Tapp, and Laurie said with a smile "To knowing each other!" Ace and Adam chimed in. "To trust in one another!" Kate and Claudette clinked their glasses together. "To hunt together!" Philip, Herman, and Evan said with a hearty chuckle. "To be gathered here, survivors and killers alike!" Susie and Frank said with a wink.

"And to a happy new year!" They all exclaimed at the same time. Laughing and chattering erupted as they sipped on their champagne as they shared experience and jokes. Though little did they know, the Entity watched them with a smile. Hope's entity was right; happiness was so much better than fear.
