The generator blew up in Feng's face but she managed to quiet down the explosion so the killer wasn't alerted. Letting out a sigh of relief and letting the sweat roll down her forehead as she focused on the generator.
She usually kept to herself and usually tried her best to stay away from anyone, especially David. The asshole almost got her killed from nearly dropping the pallet on her head when the Wraith was chasing her.
She was too distracted that she burnt her hand when touching the wires causing her to jump back. This ended up the generator to blow up. She scrambled back behind a tree, not wanting to pull a Dwight or Claudette and hide in a locker.
She saw a blurry figure walk past and saw the generator blow up in my sparks. He kicked it! Feng narrowed her eyes but kept put. It took her a while to fix that and that nearly put her back to the beginning.
"What are we hiding from?" A voice spoke to her from behind, causing her to lash out with a quick jab at his face. It caused him to fall back, knocking his hat off in the process. "Could you stop hitting on me? I was trying to be comforting seeing as your hair was sticking up." He said soothingly.
Feng rolled her eyes and snuck her way back to the generator she was working on. She felt him brush past her and got on the other side. She heard him struck wires together causing the generator to roar to life, causing Feng to get the hell out of dodge.
She had ducked behind a wall of what looked like crushed car parts. Her blood ran cold when she heard the bell right behind her.
She jumped out of the window and broke into a sprint. She couldn't get caught because they were so close to leaving, she could feel it.
She dived behind a tree, trying her best to calm her beating heart. She bit her lip when she saw him running past her. He looked around, probably wondering where she went until he gave up and cloaked. Feng heard a swoosh-like sound echo through the map as she snuck away from her spot.
She walked around, feeling the goosebumps rise on her arms when she heard another generator being done. She was glad that these people were actually taking it seriously than all fighting for the hatch.
"Hey, it's you again!" The familiar voice made Feng spun around. Feng glared at him which only made him give off the most flashing smirk. "Do you even talk or are you a mute? It doesn't hurt to talk one in a while you know." He told her. "Maybe I like silence? It makes it harder for the killer to down you but you wouldn't know that would you. You seem to do nothing but talk." Feng snapped. "Damn, aren't you feisty." Ace chuckled, causing Feng to roll her eyes and keep walking.
"What's the Laser Bears?" Ace asked, causing Feng to snap her attention to him. "What did you say?" She asked. "Your outfit. It looks like you're from a team called Laser Bears?" Feng looked at him briefly. "I took an interest in e-sports and that's what my team was called. I went to a bar and blacked out, maybe from sleep or making someone spiked my drink, but when I woke up, I was here." Feng explained.
"Interesting. All I am is a gambler with a shit ton of luck. If I even survive this hell hole I'd probably keep living it because of the damn loan sharks. Maybe I can see if Poker can save me." Ace ranted. Feng looked at him.
She knew he was bad news. How could he live with spending habits and loan sharks? Gambling away and for money, even if he's lucky. Feng rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. Though no matter what, every time he smiled or stepped closer she felt her heart skip a beat.
"Feng? You do know that the doors are powered right?" Ace asked, pretending like he was obvious to her redness. It caused her to get more red but with anger. "Shut up and let's go." She hissed. She was ready to storm off when a firm but gentle hand grabbed her wrists.
"Wait-" He started but was instantly cut off. "No, let go! Stop playing with my feelings, I'm not a toy or a doll. Hell! I most likely won't ever see you! So why should I be attached to you?!" Feng found herself spilling out everything, causing Ace to be surprised.
Feng opened her mouth until she felt another pair of lips crash onto hers. She felt electricity shot throughout her body as the kiss grew more passionate. He had his hands on her waist and her arms around his neck. They only broke apart and took a breath, Feng gently rested her head on his upper chest.
Her cheeks burned with the brightest red before she picked her head up from his chest. "Come on, let's leave." He let out his hand with a warming, soothing smiling. Feng's cold heart melted as she gripped onto it as they made it out of the exit gate and back to the fire.
Feng looked at him as he began to fad. "Wait! Where are you going?!" Feng yelled, grabbing his arm. "The Entity is calling me into a different match." Ace told her. Feng looked at him, her eyes shaking as her grip tightened. "Will I see you again?!" She asked, desperate. When he nodded she kissed him only last time before he faded away as her tears burned in the fire. She sat beside it to wait for her turn and to see if Ace would come back.
