David finished his bottled water and set it down on the counter, attempting to sober up. Being back seemed like a dream and he dreaded the day he'd wake up in that eerie campfire he grew too fond of.
He stretched out as he tossed bottles away, reminding himself to take out the trash in the morning. He wanted to have a few drinks with Ace but the bastard was running away from debt. So, David decided to drink Ace's share and immediately regretted it.
He stumbled to the bathroom and coughed into the towel bowl, falling to his knees. He finally threw up, closing his eyes and flushing the disgusting contents away. He stood up and took some painkillers, looking at himself in the mirror. He noticed something move in the corner of his eye.
He sighed, blamming it to be his imagination, along with him being under the influence. He turned the lights out and make his way to his bed, the darkness blinding him with every step. He stopped when he heard muffled breathing right behind him. He ducked as an arm swiped over his head. He grabbed his attackers arm and pinned them against the wall.
This sobered him up really quick as he pinned the masked person to the wall. "What are you doin' here?" David growled, flipping the lights on to see who broken in.
"Oh, it's just you." David muttered, letting her hand go. It was only Amanda and as soon as the lights turned off, she took her mask off. At first, he thought she had her blade on her but it turns out that she was just trying to surprise hug him. "You know, you shouldn't try and hug someone in the dark. Who doesn't know you're here, if I was Nea she'd knock you out. The poor girl's paranoid as it is." David explained.
"Why aren't you scared of me?" Amanda asked, ignoring everything he said, causing him to roll his eyes in annoyance. "Well, I have established a trust with you guys. You're just like us just with fucked up pasts." David told her. "Even if we killed so many people?" She asked, sitting down on the floor while David leaned on the wall. "So? Everyone here wants to kill someone. Just killers have the balls and the guts to do it." David said in a slow, clear voice. He was serious about and that's what made it ominous.
"Are you scared?" Amanda asked, looking away from him. She never been so scared of a survivor before, especially knowing they wanted to kill someone. "Of what?" David asked, relaxed like nothing happened. "Of returning. If we do, The Entity would be even worse than before." Amanda pointed out. Chills shot through David, as memories filled his thoughts. "Are you? The Entity tortured you guys if you didn't meet It's commands. Plus, The Entity is still alive just lurking around in the shadows." David muttered, looking at her.
"Being from Saw, I had to at least have three kills back to back. If I didn't the Entity would show me pain." She shuttered at the word, memories played in her eyes of the endless suffering. "I never knew what pain actually meant until I was there in that realm. I'm terrified of going back but I try to make good memories here so I have something to cling onto." She explained, fidgeting with her hands.
"Some killers were forced to come but you came willingly. Does that mean you stopped killing?" David asked, which only made Amanda chuckled. "Hell no, the ones who willingly went, like Myers, Evan, Kenneth, Freddy, Leatherface, and I we never stop having that thrill. We just wanted the thrill of law than the fear of not winning a trial. I know the other killers struggled, Philip did the most. Poor guy had so many bruises and scars from the Entity. Him along with Lisa had it the worst because they were just lucky to get at least one kill until they begged for some help, tweaks to their power." Amanda told David, who nodded slowly to the information.
"Have I scared you yet?" Amanda whispered in his ear, her hands slowly climbed up his shoulder. David shrugged her off, looking at her. "I'm not a touchy person okay?" David muttered gruffly. Amanda chuckles, rolling her eyes. "Sure, you're just grumpy your boy isn't here." Amanda teased, making David raise his eyebrow. "My boy?" He questioned her. "Dwight~!" She cooed, her blade unsheathed. The cold, sharp metal glided over his skin making him tense up as the blade pressed gently at his thoat. "You hurt him I'll-" David let out a yelp as the blade pressed down on his neck. "You'll what sweetheart? You forget that I'm the master of manipulation. After all," She paused, her free hand slowly moving up his chest and rested on his shoulder, "it's only just a game."
