Anna let out a breath and threw her hatchet at a tree, it stuck to the tree. With a satisfying smirk, she grabbed the hatchet and yank it out of the tree. She visibly began to get stronger every time she would practice.
Anna seemed to be the strongest out of all of the killers. A lot of people liked her because if how well she could handle herself. It was everyone's dream to even get her to smile at them. Though, her heart was set on someone. Evan.
Evan wasn't just strong and adorable, he was competitive. Anna felt towards the trapper for a while now but even though she may be visibly strong on the outside didn't mean she wasn't mentally.
It's such a thing that most people don't understand. Anna had thought when she saw the survivors. David, Meg, Tapp, and Bill were all physically strong but they felt like they'd either blow up or back away from the problem. Nea, Ace, Claudette, and Jake were so strong on the inside. They can keep their cool and think things over but couldn't tackle someone down.
Anna felt jealous like she longed for some company that she could.laugh and play with. She didn't mind the screams of pain that the survivors let out as their skin tears around their shoulder and neck area. Though, she wanted someone to go to and just talk.
Killed weren't really allowed to spend time together because it would destroy the Entity's realm, which seems to already to be happening. Honestly, Anna wouldn't mind but she knew a lot of them would be furious and could even help restore it. Then they would find new survivors to scar and most likely it would be near impossible to break.
Anna moved her thoughts away from that and focused on the person behind the tree. Within a blink, her hatchet hit the tree so hard it broke. "That's a warning! Next time I won't miss." She hissed grabby an iridescent head. "Okay, okay. Truce." The voice made her heart fly.
"Evan?" She asked, surprised to see him as he smiles. "Thanks for the warm welcome." He joked, messing with her. "Sorry, you can't be too sure." She told him awkwardly, her hand on the back of her neck. "You're quite cute when you're like that." He chuckled, she growing read under the mask. "Th-Thanks." She stuttered.
He randomly grabbed her hatchet and began to aim. Which a breath he through it, it lodging into the wall. "Impressive but not enough." She said with a sassy smirked, her hands on her hip. She then took a hatchet out of her belt, winded it up, and released. The hatchet soared deadly into the tree, right above Evan's.
"You're really good at this," Evan told her. "Yeah, well, you're good at something when you do it as your younger. I was really good at nine and I haven't stopped since." She pointed out. "You watched your mother die at that age right?" Evan asked sympathetically.
The world seemed like it stopped, no noise just silence. If felt like the time was stopped because the crows became quiet as he saw her hand grip the hatchet. She threw it hard with such a force it broke, the blade slightly stuck but feel. "I'm sorry I brought it up." He felt really bad and felt bad for her. "I feel like if it was me instead of her or if I could've saved her."
Tears fell from Anna's face and it was quite a shocking and rare thing to see. "I-I don't want to be here. I want to get out of here and not be trapped here." She whimpered. Evan couldn't take anymore and swallowed her into a hug. Anna jumped, surprised. "Wh-What are you doing?" Anna muttered. "I'm hugging you," Evan told her. Anna smiled, snuggling close.
"Don't feel like it's your fault or it should've been you. Things happened for a reason and maybe one day, we will escape here," he held up her hand gently with a loving look in her eyes and kissed her hand, "together."
