You woke up to someone standing over you, checking your pulse. "They're alive!" A mixed girl said with a relieved breath. Someone rolled their eyes, she had pigtails and athletic clothes. "Come on it never sends us a dead body!" She said. "Well, it's still a possibility." A girl with glasses said, she had a brown hoodie and black shorts on.

"Guys, back up. You're scarying them!" A gruff voice said. His knuckles in bloody bandages as he wore a tore up muscle white t-shirt that was covering in splatters of blood. To finish off his outfit was a baggy brown pair of pants. You felt your cheeks burning when his ruff hands reached out for yours.

"Take it." He let out an annoyed huff but was concerned when you were two seconds from fainting as soon as you got to your feet. He caught you, his hand firmly gripped around your waist as the girl in the brown hoodie ran up to the mixed girl with black curly hair. "Are they okay?!" The girl and the guy who had caught you asked at the exact same time. "Yes, yes they're fine you two. Hope can you get some water?" The girl in the brown hoodie ran off, leaving the guy holding you in his arms. "They are just afraid and shocked. Give them time." The mixed girl told him with a smile. He nodded. "Yes, Claudette." He simply said before taking you to lay down somewhere. "Be careful with them David!" Claudette yelled at them.

"What's the last thing you remember?" The soft tone he took surprised you. You had thought he was the stereotypical tough guy who wasn't gentle at all and gotten into many bar fights. "W-Well," You stammered, making him look at you as you took a deep breath. "M-My name's (Y/N). I'm a teacher and was looking after my students. I was asleep when all the sudden, I was gone and woke up here. I did hear footsteps but when I turned around I was met with darkness." You explained, still afraid.

David, which you learned his name by the girl who was referred to as Claudette said, had sat besides you. He had laid down and gotten comfortable before looking over at you. He was met with your blushing face and chuckled. "Come on, stop checking me out and use me as a pillow." He chuckled.

You felt his fingers dance in your hair, as he found it therapeutic, calming his nerves. "Hey, David." The girl, who you thought to be Hope, had a glass of water in her hands. "Thanks Hope." David smiled, confirming your thoughts. She handing the drink to you gently before sitting down besides you guys.

"What do you remember when you came here?" You had asked David, who laughed. "It's been a lot time kid. I just found myself in the same exact scenario where I'd start a bar fight, end up winning and then testing out my cardio for the police to chase after me. One day, I ran into a forest and ended up falling and hitting my head! Next thing I know, Claudette's already gotten my hands and head bandage." David explained, making you look up at him, shocked and impressed.

You looked over to Hope, who smiled. "What's your story?" You asked, confused. "Yeah, what is yours? You never did question that." David brought it up. "Heh, well to sum it up, I always wanted to be an artist. I would paint, draw, doodle, join in arts and crafts, and even participate in the art teachers lectures about literally everything, like some shortcuts. Then something came over me in one of my drawings. I thought I was in a trance, like someone that I couldn't see began to help me draw this horrible thing in my mind. This thing turned out to be so many huge spider legs that kept popping out of the paper! That's when it grabbed me and it went dark and I ended up here." Hope said, a bit nervous.

"Jesus." Was all David could think of. You didn't noticed you had shrunk back into the safety of David's arms. His aura soothed you as you took notice of how quick your breathing was. "Hey, hey it's okay." He was shocked, making sure he didn't scare you. To him, you seemed like a kitten or a puppy that has been kicked. 'What are you hiding (Y/N)..?' David thought, his arm around you. "I'll leave you two alone." Hope smiled gently as she left the area, going back to the fire to get warm."

"Where did you get those bruises?" David asked, noticing your arms and your legs. "What…?" You trailed off as you realized you were wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. You usually wore sweatpants and a choice of a long-sleeved shirt or a hoodie. "It's nothing. Just relationship issues." You said uncomfortably, rubbing your arm.

David sighed and held you close in his lap, you laid your head gently on his shoulder. "You're fading." David said sadly, making you scared. "What will happened?!" You asked, panicking. "Well, you don't have a tally mark on your cheek. So, you're leaving or waking up." David muttered softly. "No!" You yelped, gripping onto his shoulders, wrapping your arms around his neck.

He gazed into your eyes, his hand gently on your cheek. "Can I?" He asked, his cheeks tinting into a red. You nodded slightly, licking your lips as you guys closed in on each other. David nibbled on your bottom lip which made you yelp, giving him an opportunity to French kiss you. The kiss was rough but yet soft and gentle. David held you by your waist as he kissed your neck, minutes passed as you started to become less visible.

David held your hand gently, whispering in your ear. "Make the most out of your life while you still can." You bolted up from your bed and looked out the window as the rain gently landed on the window as you smiled.

"Thank you." You smiled as you got up and started on with your day.
