Chapter 2 ~ Too Far

~Hayes~

"Hey Nash can I ask you something?" I asked my brother as I combed my hair. "What?" He asked, he's not a morning person. "What do you think I should do for Amber for our 2 year anniversary?" I asked, I have no idea. "Um, why don't you take her like to the park or something?" He said. I guess the park would work. "Alright" I said. I put on my football jersey to show that we play tonight. "Boys let's go!" My dad yelled from downstairs. We ran down there and got in my dad's car. Nash's broke down so he doesn't have his right now, other wise Nash would take me. We drove and pulled up to the school I got out and saw Amber run up to me in her cheer leader outfit. She is like the definition of HOT. She hugged me and I hugged back. She pulled away and kissed me. She has some soft flips if I do say so myself. We walked up to the school and she met up with her friends. While she did that I went to my locker. When I shut my locker I saw Shawn walk down to B hall. That's weird? He's in C hall not B hall. I looked around for Amber when I saw her and her friends reading a book and, laughing? "Hey what's going on?" I asked. "Oh we got "trashys" diary" she giggled. "Trashy? Who's that?" I asked until I saw Emma standing behind the really mad Kat. "Oh isn't it the trashy sisters?" Amber said. "Who are you talking about? I don't see any trashy girls but I do see some Barbies right in front of me." Kat said I couldn't help but laugh. Amber turned around and gave me the death stare. So I stopped. "Look here you Barbie You may be lucky to have Hayes, but there is no way that he will ever love you the way he loved Emma. In fact I bet that if I get Nash or Cameron over here, they will tell you what Hayes has done for Emma even for a year. You've been with him for two years, and I bet that he hasn't givin you half the stuff he gave Emma." Kat said. Then I looked behind her at Emma, who now had tears in her eyes. "Why don't you just go back to the rest of the Viners! Where you belong!" Amber said. She was really mad now. "Just a little FYI your boyfriend there behind you is also a viner!" Kat said. Which was true. "Whatever, go back to the "loser" Viners. Hayes is cool no that he's with me" Amber said, and Kat ran up to her and slapped her. After she did that she turned around and grabbed Emma by the arm and they left. "How could you not defend me?!" Amber screamed. "Well you kinda had it coming to ya" I said, and she did. "What do you mean I had it coming to me!? No I didn't!! I don't deserve that!! I deserve respect around here!!" She yelled, and she ran off with the other girls. I was walking to class when I bumped in to chocolate brown eyes. Just looking in her eyes bring back so many memories. "Sorry" I said. When I said that, I meant for everything that happened. From when they took her diary, got pushed in to lockers this year, everything. Emma just looked at me and walked away. I walked up to Amber and made her turn around. "What do you want?!" She yelled. "Give me the Diary" I said and she gave it to me and kept talking to her friends. I walked to class and kept the Diary in my backpack.

~Lunch~

I walked up and got my tray and payed. I looked around and saw my football buddies. "Hey Grier" they said. "Sup" I said. We just talked about how Valley always cheated so we had to watch our back for anything. Then everybody started laughing at the table when I turned around. I saw Amber right I front of Emma with an empty spaghetti bowl. I looked over at Emma and she had sauce all over her. That's it. I saw Emma storm out of the room, I couldn't tell if she was crying or not. But I could tell that she was about to. That's when I ignored Amber for the rest of the day. This is almost like the whole Alex thing all over again.
