Chapter 20 ~ Party

I ran up stairs avoiding Hayes. I got in the shower and washed my body, since I have no hair. Well I am starting to get hair, but not much. I really miss it. I got out and dried off. I went to my closet and picked out a red summer dress with my jean jacket. It's sleeveless and only goes up to mid stomach. I got out black sandals with black hoops. I looked in my mirror. I'm just not the same. I don't look good with out my hair. I hate it. I got out my guitar and walked downstairs. "Presents!" I heard Taylor yell. I walked downstairs with my guitar. "Hey" I got greeted by Hayes. He was wearing his Magcon hoodie and khaki shorts, he looks really cute. "Hi" I said then walked away to Kat. We all sat down and gave her presents. "OMG Hayes! No way! *Gasp* as starfish?!" She said. He nodded. "I found it on the beach" he said. Everybody went till it was me and Matt. "Go ahead Matt" I said. Shawn and him nodded. Matt stayed put while Shawn got his guitar. "Matt?" Kat asked. "This is my present to you, my lovely" he said bopping her nose. She giggled. Shawn sang Wanted by Hunter Hayes. I love his cover of it. Then it was me. "Well Kat, I'm gonna sing. It's a song that really reminds me of us as sisters" I said. She smiled I got out my guitar.

While I sang I just looked at Kat. But glanced at Hayes a few times. I just realized, I over reacted. I made a big deal over nothing. Everybody helped me realize that. I guess if he didn't care he wouldn't have cried, been there for me when I was gone. He's been here all these years. While we were separated, he didn't bully me. He didn't go back to being a jock. I think I've finally found my knight in shunting armor. To help me threw all of this. He was here this whole time. "I love you so much sissy, thank you!" She said while hugging me. We had a sister moment. We all just hung around till Hayes pulled me aside. "I'm sorry" he said. "Don't be" I said. I pecked hi on the lips. He smiled and so did I. "Sorry I had to" I said with a laugh. "Don't be" he said, I felt my face heat up. "I over reacted, I understand what you meant now. I'm happy that you were with me all this time" I said while smiling. I hugged him. "You look beautiful" he said while I had my head on his chest. I smiled. "Thank you" I said. "Awe!" We heard from the living room. We smiled. He had an arm around my waist while we walked back to the living room. I love having this family. I don't know what I would do without them.
