Synopsis: When you were 11 years old, you made friends with a tall dapper king named KD. After 13 years, both of you reunited except there was huge difference on you.

Narrator's POV

You remembered those days with that charming & tall man somewhere in the town. You also remembered him being a kind gentlemen as if you're his monarch. It's such an odd thing that you enjoyed those times. You also remembered that both of you talked about the heights:

"I wanna be tall as you!" You exclaimed with excitement with a bright smile. He chuckled at your words, and grinned, "Well, if y'all wanna be tall as me, ya' need to earn it!" He pridefully replied. Even being pride is a bad deed, he still used it as if it's a good deed, "How? How can I do that?" You asked him while getting closer to him. He couldn't believe that you're getting closer to him, for he remembered that you were a shy type, "Well, for a gal like you, I guess it's those vitamins for gettin' ya tall!" He exclaimed with the same grin, "Really? Where?" You asked him with curiosity, "Ya' can find it in those stores, but if ya' want, I can give ya' some!" He said with a smile. You immediately lit up with joy, "Oh please, sir! I wanna have some!" You begged him with happiness. He couldn't say no to your adorable face. He nodded and you hugged him tightly, "Thanks." You replied even though it's muffled.

Your thoughts were interrupted by a knock on your door, and the door opened, "Hey, (Y/N)! I got a call from your childhood friend!" Your loyal friend, Mariana exclaimed while holding her phone, "Really?" You asked her with a small smile, "Yeah! He even called me about having a reunion in the nearby park!" Mariana added while showing you her call history. It's true that he called her and requested to have a reunion, "We better get ready for later." Mariana remarked while going to her closet to get new clothing. You also did the same thing. You decided to wear a black sweater and jeans, for it's casual.

"Alright, he said that he will be here in a few minutes." Mariana remarked while both of you were sitting down on a wooden bench, "I'll go the washroom, are you going to?" Mariana suddenly asked you, while standing. You shook your head, and Mariana began to walked to a distance to the washroom. You wondered what will be his reaction due to your height. He would probably drop his jaw. Suddenly, at the corner of your eye, you saw him. He was walking around as if he's observing people. You stood up from your bench, and ran towards him, "Dice!" You yelled at him with excitement, "Huh?" He then saw a lady running towards him. He seemed surprised, because at first he didn't recognized. You then called by his name, which he remembered your sweet voice, and you suddenly hugged him.

There's something odd about you. Instead of you hugging and facing on his chest or his stomach, you placed your head on top of his right shoulder. He didn't realized this, until you stopped hugging him, and gave him a smile. It's indeed the truth that you're the same height as him, "You're...th' same height as mine." He stuttered at you with a nervous smile. It's your first time seeing him nervous in front of you over the same height. It's understandably ridiculous, "I know! I reached my goal! Isn't amazing?" You remarked while your bright smile was on your face. He nodded with a genuine smile, "Hey, since yer' tall as me, wouldn't that be odd for yer' buddy?" He asked you with the same grin, "No, It would be weird if I told to you that I actually admire you since I were young and I love everything about and-" You stopped yourself, & he heard it all, "That's one nice way for ya' to love me back." He replied with a chuckle, amused by your fast talking & your face as red as a strawberry, "What do you mean, 'love me back?'" You suddenly asked him. Is it true that he admired you? It's weird for you, but both of you were just best friends.

"I have to be honest with ya'. You looked pleasant when yer' tall as me." He remarked with a grin. You have to agree. How he grinned at you made you a bit uneasy,  however since he's your best friend, you were just fine for him to grin & smirk, "Really? Thank you." You answered with a great smile. This reunion was a lovely one,  thanks to you because you got taller.  Meanwhile, Mariana saw both of you chatting, which is really bad for her because she's going to fan girl.
