Synopsis: After reports of young ladies being missing, and found traumatized. You were dared by your toxic friends to enter that mansion, but you didn't fell on the other's path.

Wowzers, this is going to be a modern fairytale except the classic met it.

Narrator's POV

There were many reports of ladies gone missing, and they only found alive after a 6 days. Their expressions were oddly suspicious, for they told the authorities that they're fine & nothing happened. They have no choice, but to investigate more. The weird thing is that the last time they were found was in the palace like mansion in the end of the Purple Forest. The authorities decided to secure the mansion to avoid more missing people. Some people speculated that someone or something might remove the memories through magic. Another batch of people connected it to an old fairytale about a king staying in their palace to find his own queen. He only have to wait for a curious lady to enter his place.

You're a young girl in your older teenage years. You're wise but you still wonder why do you have toxic friends. You only have 3 friends, who were pushing you to do risky tasks or even try illegal actions like stealing, but you refused. One cold evening in the Purple Forest, you & your friends decided to play truth or dare. It can be a dangerous game indeed, "Okay! Truth or Dare?" Isabel asked you with a devilish grin. You gulped slowly, and nervously replied, "I'll choose dare." Maria looked at you with a smirk, "We dare you to," She started, and saw the palace like mansion with barbed wires around it with signs warning people to stay away, "Go to that palace like mansion!" She exclaimed while the other two nodded with agreement, "Yeah! You always refuse, so we insisted!" Florante added with arrogance while an evil grin on his face, "See, even Florante agreed!" Maria smugly said with a smirk. Since you're the curious one, you decided to give it a try. You wanted to know who is responsible of the missing ladies, "Okay. I'll do it." You murmured to Maria with sincerity. They folded their arms, and grinned. You walked around the wires, to find another way to the mansion. You decided to wear your black hoodie, and fixed it to cover near half of your face. After a while, you jumped over the wires, and you landed on the forbidden area. The sound of the dried leaves and the wet soil were the only sounds that faintly disappeared the silence. Your boots were a bit dirtied by the soil, but you don't mind. Perhaps there's a rug for you to wipe it off.

You went to the marbled steps, getting in front of the dark metal doors. When you were about to knock on it, the doors suddenly opened. You let out a gasp of fascination. Could this be magic? Meanwhile, your friends hid behind the tall thick trees, for they need to be prepared for surprises, "Whoa..." You marveled while your eyes went big filled with amazement. The inside was lit by the huge chandeliers with lavender light, shining the whole room with other lights. There was a huge & long dinner table in a distance. There were silver plates & utensils on the table, including knives for cutting the meat during fine dining, cups that were decorated with purple roses. It felt like royalty. The scent here smelled a mix of vanilla & lavenders. It made you calm for a while. You walked towards the amaranthine(eternally beautiful) place to see more of this divine place. The doors suddenly closed shut, which you immediately turned around, and a worried expression formed on your face.

"What's wrong, my dear? You can't escape?" A deep yet lovely voice boomed from a long distance. The place became dark, making you shiver of fear. You have this drapetomani(an overwhelming urge to run away), but something's not letting you, "How pathetic for you once again. Just like the other ladies I casted a spell upon them." His eutony(the pleasantness of a word's sound) was unique & lovely to your ears, "W-What do you want?" You shouted to the mysterious man. He responded with a chuckle, and you watched his figure began to get clearer in every step he took, "Well," He started, and his eyes began to glow a faint bright green, which you saw it. It was elysian(beautiful/perfect) to your eyes. He caught you staring at him, which he just shook his head with a smirk. You immediately looked away, feeling embarrassed of your actions, "T-Tell me! Why are getting those poor ladies?" You asked him in a louder voice, "Why, because they don't fit as my queen." That word shocked you internally, 'Queen? That means he's a king!' You pondered in your brain. You were about to bow at him, but he suddenly used his magic to slowly remove your hood that was covering your face. You quickly held it tight, not letting his magic to dominate you. He teleported in front of you, which you gasped with surprise & amazement. You looked down while still holding down the hem of the hood. Your face was slightly warm. He then held on the hem, and quickly removed it. Your hair was a small mess due to your hoodie messing it up. He looked at you with a confused look, "Are you alright, (y/n)?" He asked you while removing your hair that covered your face, "H-How did you know my name?" You inquired him while taking a few steps back from him, "I have heard it when your toxic friends used to push you around. I felt sympathy for you having those friends." He answered with a sad smile. He knew your problems? That's strange.

"Well, since you knew about my life, I need to ask you something!" You hissed at him, "You may ask anything my love~" He murmured with a smirk, "First, why are you acting flirty towards me & second, why were searching for a queen anyways?" You asked him with a tint of curiosity & anger of his actions, "That is because," He started as he began to circle around you, which you find that weird, but he's the king hear anyways, "I'm a lonely king as you are~" He purred in your ear from behind, giving you a lot of frisson down your body. You shut your eyes, and groaned in annoyance, "I-I'm not lonely! I have my f-friends!-" You were interrupted by his finger on your lips. You frowned by his sudden action, "How pathetic that you called them friends. Since I'm such a nice king, I decided to let you be free from them." He remarked with a grin.

You weren't sure about this, but a king who wanted to keep you away from your friends because he felt sympathy on you. You felt more safe from those rascals when you're with him, but what if he's doing this so he can use you, "I'm not sure about that, your highness." You murmured while removing his finger gently, turning yourself to look at him, "I doubt about you being sympathetic towards me. I can't trust a man who I just met." You answered to him with doubtfulness & worry, "Don't worry, I will show you how I felt about you~" He replied to you while he gracefully offered his hand to you, "So please, take my hand, and-" "And I will be your queen." You finished his sentence. He was surprised at first, but brushed it off. You showed a small smile at him, and took his hand which he held it firmly. He squeezed your hand gently, which you blushed even more, "So, my darling," He started while he began to walk towards the staircase, which you followed him, "I forgot to introduce myself. King Dice is the name." He remarked with pride. You smiled as a response. You hoped that your friends will understand that you'll come back after 6 days, or more?

Your friends reported about you gone missing to the authorities, which they lied about them insisting you. Two weeks had past, and you went how without any harm at all, except you have hickeys & love bites. The authorities questioned you where have you been, which you told them what's in the inside of the mansion. The truth is that only you can see the alluring rooms & etc in the mansion. To the eye of other people, it's just nothing but damaged insides.
You decided to stay with him from now on, to avoid your friends, & to live a peaceful & lovely life with King Dice. Indeed wonderful & fun. He loved you back. A lot.
